FPT Ready to Support Quang Ninh in Becoming a “Strategic Destination for Global Investment” Through Digital Technologies

At the “Investment Promotion Conference on Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation,” FPT showcased a comprehensive ecosystem of digital solutions, reaffirming its commitment to accompanying Quang Ninh Province in its ambition to strengthen its pioneering position in digital government, digital economy and digital society—while becoming a strategic landing point for global investment capital.

Through this conference, Quang Ninh created an open space for connection, dialogue and collaboration among research organizations, technology corporations, Japanese enterprises and international partners with local authorities—thereby promoting investment cooperation, technology transfer, innovation and the development of high-tech projects in the new phase.

As a strategic partner with more than a decade of cooperation with Quang Ninh, FPT was honored to be among the selected enterprises participating in the event, bringing deep insights into cutting-edge digital applications and introducing core technology solutions to support the province’s digital development strategy.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, CEO of FPT, highlighted Quang Ninh’s consistent leadership in administrative reform and digital transformation, reflected in its PCI, PAR, SIPAS and DTI rankings. The province’s strong economic base, synchronized infrastructure and unique geopolitical advantages create an ideal environment for high-tech projects. Over the past decade, FPT has supported the province in deploying a three-tier e-government model since 2013; developing multiple new digital platforms in 2025; training over 19,500 officials; and achieving a 98.5% on-time handling rate of administrative procedures after only three months of operating the new system across 54 communes and wards.

In addition to expert sharing and cooperation activities, FPT presented a collection of digital solutions aimed at helping Quang Ninh realize its ambition to lead Vietnam in digital transformation across digital government, digital economy and digital society—becoming an attractive investment destination for both domestic and international enterprises.

Combined with Geobase—positioned as a unified provincial digital map—these solutions support smart urban planning and real-time situational monitoring, enabling faster, more accurate decision-making.
