FPT showcases AI solutions at the 1st Party Congress of HCMC for 2025–2030 Term
At the 1st Party Congress of Ho Chi Minh City – a landmark political event marking a historic milestone for the new Ho Chi Minh City – FPT was honored to be among the exemplary enterprises, joining the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center in showcasing cutting-edge technology products and AI-powered solutions that drive digital transformation and contribute to fulfilling the objectives set forth in Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW.

The 1st Party Congress of Ho Chi Minh City for the 2025–2030 term marks a historic milestone following the merger of the former Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, and Ba Ria–Vung Tau, forming a new, dynamic Ho Chi Minh City with regional significance. The event not only sets the strategic development direction for the city in a new era but also embodies the spirit of innovation and the aspiration for breakthrough growth of the nation’s leading metropolis.
Attended by General Secretary To Lam, State President Luong Cuong, and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, the Congress was held in a solemn and meaningful atmosphere with the participation of 550 delegates. Nearly 30 exhibition booths showcased over 650 products and solutions across 11 strategic technology groups presented by departments, agencies, and corporate partners. Among the highlights were displays of achievements in science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, portraying Ho Chi Minh City as a vibrant, creative, and globally integrated metropolis.

At the technology exhibition held as part of the Congress, FPT, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center, showcased a range of standout technology products and solutions. The display highlighted the close partnership between the Center and FPT in driving innovation and supporting key city initiatives. Together, they aim to build a smart city, enhance government efficiency, foster digital economic growth, and improve citizens’ quality of life.
FPT’s presence at the event not only reaffirmed its pioneering technological capabilities but also underscored its commitment to accompanying the city in realizing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW. With a strong pledge to contribute to comprehensive digital transformation across three pillars: digital government, digital economy, and digital society, FPT continues to play a vital role in shaping a modern, intelligent, and people-centric Ho Chi Minh City, reinforcing its status as the nation’s economic powerhouse and a model for national digital transformation.
At the event, FPT introduced two flagship solutions designed to help city departments and agencies enhance urban management and operational efficiency while delivering practical, citizen-centric services: the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen App and the AI-based Construction Monitoring Solution at the An Phu Intersection.

A highlight of the showcase was the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Citizen App—a comprehensive digital platform serving residents with 12 key features, including the 1022 Information Portal, Public Security SOS, Medical Lookup, Student Records, and Metro Fare Exemption services. The app has surpassed 561,000 downloads, becoming a vital digital bridge between the government and citizens. Notably, the app features an AI Chatbot Virtual Assistant, developed by FPT, which functions as an intelligent companion capable of natural language communication, instant responses, and continuous learning to better serve users. The platform enhances citizens’ access to public services, saves time, fosters community connectivity, and delivers a smarter, more seamless urban living experience.

In addition, at the An Phu Intersection, FPT integrated AI technology to analyze monitoring data from six fixed 24/7 cameras combined with aerial surveillance via drones, creating a digital twin model for managing construction projects and transportation infrastructure. With this AI-powered system, authorities and management units can objectively and continuously monitor project activities at the intersection, enabling faster decision-making and contributing to the development of a smart, efficiently operated Ho Chi Minh City.

Beyond its presence at major events, FPT is also partnering with Ho Chi Minh City on a series of large-scale digital transformation projects. These include the Ho Chi Minh City Metro Project – a collaboration with MAUR and HURC1 to digitize the city’s urban railway management system; supporting District 7 in building an Intelligent Operations Center; and working with Thu Duc City to deploy urban management and monitoring technologies. FPT is also implementing smart hospital and electronic medical record projects across multiple major hospitals. Together, these initiatives contribute to realizing Ho Chi Minh City’s vision of becoming a modern, smart, and digitally empowered metropolis.
