FPT showcases “Make in Vietnam” solutions at the 2025 Ministry of Public Security Digital Transformation event
On October 27, the Ministry of Public Security held the 4th National Online Conference on Digital Transformation in the People’s Public Security forces, marking a significant step in building a modern, data-driven police force. At the event, FPT was honored as one of the few enterprises collaborating with C06 – Ministry of Public Security, showcasing technology solutions already implemented in public-private co-creation models, contributing to the advancement and realization of the goals outlined in Resolution 57-NQ/TW on national digital transformation.

In the national digital transformation journey, the Ministry of Public Security is among the pioneering agencies in the law enforcement sector, actively implementing the objectives of Resolution 57-NQ/TW and the government’s Project 06. This represents not only a demonstration of the People’s Public Security forces’ commitment to building a digital government but also ushers in a new phase of data-driven management aimed at better serving citizens and businesses.
At the conference, FPT was honored to showcase highly practical solutions, demonstrating the creativity and mastery of core “Make in Vietnam” technologies by its team of engineers.
FAS02 Wins Award at Data 4 Life 2024
Among the showcased innovations, FAS02 – the Smart School Safety Solution – stood out by winning an award at Data 4 Life 2024. Developed entirely by FPT – from hardware and software to semiconductor chip design – FAS02 is optimized for IoT environments and local deployment conditions. The system aims to create safer, smarter educational environments by authenticating students’ identities through chip-based ID cards, combined with biometric and NFC technologies that verify information directly against connected databases. Beyond enhancing campus security in high-sensitivity areas, FAS02 also automates attendance tracking and access control at schools, offices, and other secure facilities.
In addition, FPT introduced FAS06 – the Mobile Identity Authentication Solution, which integrates NFC chip reading, biometrics, and real-time data matching with the Ministry of Public Security’s systems. The device enables instant citizen verification, identity recognition, forgery detection, and data retrieval to support law enforcement activities. FAS06 authenticates ID cards, facial, and fingerprint data in just over one second, operating both online and offline with a local database of up to 20,000 identities. This solution helps strengthen public security management and operational efficiency, while demonstrating the technological mastery of FPT’s engineers in building a secure, reliable “Make in Vietnam, Made by FPT” semiconductor ecosystem.
All devices are centrally managed through a CMS platform, enabling GPS monitoring, usage log tracking, remote locking and unlocking, and simultaneous software updates – ensuring seamless control and optimized operations.
A remarkable highlight is that 100% of the core chips used in both products were designed by Vietnamese engineers, underscoring FPT’s homegrown capabilities in semiconductor research and production – sectors prioritized by the Government for national development. Beyond domestic deployment, these chips have already received orders totaling 70 million units from Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea, signaling strong international demand and paving the way for a “Make in Vietnam” technology ecosystem with global reach.
In addition to solutions powered by semiconductor core technology, FPT also introduced FPT.IDCheck – a chip-based ID verification solution directly connected to the Ministry of Public Security’s national population database, and the Vietnam Epidemiological and Pharmaceutical Map, a digital platform that centralizes pharmaceutical data to support research, management, and the prevention of drug-related crimes.

Among the key highlights showcased by FPT at the exhibition was the Vietnam Epidemiological and Pharmaceutical Map, a breakthrough solution demonstrating the corporation’s capabilities in applying big data to national healthcare management. The system aggregates data from over 2,200 FPT Long Châu pharmacies, serving more than 28 million citizens, and connects with the national population database via VNeID to form a dynamic, real-time health data network. Leveraging advanced analytics and predictive technologies, the map enables authorities to identify trends in medicine usage, issue early warnings of potential outbreaks, and support supply coordination, preventive healthcare strategy development, and public health spending optimization. The solution empowers citizens to access the right medicines, use them responsibly, and proactively prevent diseases – contributing to the overall improvement of community health.
FPT.IDCheck, meanwhile, is a digital identity verification solution directly integrated with the Ministry of Public Security’s national population database. Powered by AI, Big Data, NFC, and biometric technologies, it cross-verifies information from chip-based ID cards with C06 data, achieving near-perfect accuracy and compliance with ISO 30107-3 standards. Currently deployed across sectors such as banking, education, healthcare, and insurance, FPT.IDCheck enables citizens to verify identities within seconds while ensuring absolute transaction security. For the Government, it helps prevent fraud, enhance the reliability of online public services, and accelerate the development of a secure, transparent digital government and digital economy.

On the same afternoon, FPT had the honor of continuing its participation by showcasing the aforementioned solutions at the 50th Anniversary Ceremony of the People’s Public Security Legal Affairs Force, alongside activities such as the Law on Data in the People’s Public Security quiz competition and presentations of advanced technological solutions. The event underscored FPT’s strong commitment to accompanying the People’s Public Security force in building a modern, secure, and efficient data infrastructure.
