FPT stands ready to accompany Vietnam in the implementation of the Law on Data
On July 1, 2025, the Ministry of Public Security held a Launching Ceremony to kick off the implementation of the Data Law, along with its guiding decrees and detailed regulatory documents.

The event was attended by Major General Nguyen Ngoc Cuong, Party Committee Secretary and Director of the National Data Center under the Ministry of Public Security, along with members of the Party Committee, representatives from the National Data Center, Ministry of Public Security, the National Data Association, as well as businesses, banks, and international organizations.

Speaking at the launch ceremony for the Data Law and its guiding regulations, Major General Nguyen Ngoc Cuong emphasized the historic significance and strategic importance of July 1, 2025 – calling it a pivotal milestone that ushers in a new chapter in Vietnam’s journey toward building a digital government, digital society, and digital economy. He affirmed that the Data Law – the country’s first comprehensive legal framework governing data activities – marks a breakthrough step into an era where data becomes the “new fuel” for national development.
As part of the program, Colonel Nguyen Thanh Vinh, Deputy Director of the National Data Center, Ministry of Public Security, officially announced the launch of the National Data Development Fund platform and the Data Management System. These two core components of the national data architecture are designed to accelerate the development of modern, standardized, and interconnected data infrastructure. The initiative also aims to support research, technological applications, talent development, and innovation. The Government has entrusted the Ministry of Public Security with establishing the National Data Development Fund.
FPT is among the pioneering technology enterprises actively preparing to deliver intermediary data products and services.
The event also brought together technology firms and service providers expected to play key roles as intermediary platforms within the national data marketplace. FPT, one of the pioneering tech companies in this space, is actively preparing to roll out intermediary data products and services.
A representative from FPT shared that the company has been closely aligning with the new Data Law, building a team of experts and developing a comprehensive, secure, and privacy-focused technology ecosystem to meet the law’s requirements swiftly. FPT reaffirmed its commitment to working alongside the Government, the Ministry of Public Security, and the business community to harness and enrich national data resources – a new and vital production asset in the digital economy.
