General Department of Vietnam Customs honors FPT for outstanding contributions in digital transformation and IT application
On October 10, 2025, at the Vietnam Customs Commendation Ceremony, FPT Corporation was honored as one of the organizations recognized for outstanding achievements in implementing IT applications and driving digital transformation, under Decision No. 1531/QĐ-CHQ dated October 1, 2025. The award acknowledged FPT’s active contributions in supporting incident resolution and ensuring the smooth operation of the customs IT system.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Le Duc Thanh, Director of Customs IT and Statistics Department, alongside representatives of the honored organizations and individuals, as well as numerous officials and staff from the Customs IT and Statistics Department.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Duc Thanh commended the dedication and continuous efforts of the honored organizations and individuals. He emphasized: “Amid a sharp increase in import-export transactions, with nearly one million electronic transactions daily, the stable and uninterrupted operation of the IT system is a key factor ensuring the smooth flow of goods and national trade.”
At the same time, he expressed his hope that the Customs Department will continue to receive close collaboration from technology partners, particularly in applying new solutions to advance the modernization and digitalization of the customs sector, meeting the increasing management demands in the context of deepening global integration.
Representing FPT, Mr. Tran Phong Chau shared: “We view this not only as a technical task but also as a responsibility to the national economy – ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient flow of data and trade operations.”
The ceremony took place in a solemn yet warm atmosphere, reflecting the timely recognition by the Customs leadership of the organizations, individuals, and partners who have diligently supported the sector’s digital transformation journey.
