Hoan My Medical Corporation cooperates with FPT IS to digitalize healthcare services
On the morning of August 20, 2020, in HCMC, FPT Information System Co., Ltd. (FPT IS) and Hoan My Medical Corporation (Hoan My) successfully held a signing ceremony to deploy Hospital management system FPT.eHospital 2.0 and Electronic medical record management system FPT.EMR. The project marks an important step of Hoan My, aiming towards a paperless smart hospital model. This cooperation not only better serves the people but also affirms the effort of two large corporations to promote the digital transformation in Health sector and contribute to building a digital nation.
According to the plan, FPT IS will deploy a Smart hospital management system (FPT.eHospital 2.0 application) and build an Intelligent electronic medical record system (FPT.EMR application) for Hoan My. In addition, FPT Telecom Joint Stock Company (FPT Telecom) will provide the cloud service – FPT Hi Gio Cloud for the largest private medical corporation in Vietnam.
The project has a total value of 100 billion VND and has been deployed at Hoan My’s 14 hospitals, 8 general clinics and family doctor clinics within 28 months.
The smart medical system deployed by FPT IS will help Hoan My improve its management, the quality of medical examination and treatment to better serve millions of people.

FPT.EMR is an electronic medical record management system that helps health facilities securely create and manage medical records, save the cost of storing paper medical records, aiming to build a paperless hospital model and serve the people’s needs for medical examination and treatment, information lookup as well as hospital’s management. The system meets advanced level according to Circular No. 54/2017/TT-BYT dated December 29th, 2017 by the Minister of Health on promulgating a set of criteria for information technology application in health facilities. The software is first applied at Hai Phong International General Hospital. It is also evaluated and recognized by Ministry of Health as the first hospital to deploy successfully electronic medical records and meet all Ministry of Health’s regulations to completely eliminate paper medical records.
