Pharmedic accelerates large-scale digital governance on the SAP S/4HANA Cloud platform deployed by FPT
HANOI – Pharmedic Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Materials Joint Stock Company has officially announced the successful go-live of its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system on the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud platform, integrated with “Made by FPT” technology solutions. The milestone marks a significant step in Pharmedic’s comprehensive digital transformation roadmap and underscores FPT’s role and capabilities in deploying next-generation enterprise management platforms, particularly in highly regulated and compliance-intensive sectors such as pharmaceuticals, in line with the implementation of the Politburo’s Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW.
FPT officially completes the deployment of the ERP system on the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud platform for Pharmedic
The project was launched on April 25, 2025 and officially went live on January 5, 2026, following an implementation period of more than seven months. On the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud platform, FPT deployed a fully integrated ERP system combined with the “Made by FPT” solution ecosystem for sales and human resources management, covering all of Pharmedic’s core business operations.
Pharmedic’s decision to adopt SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud reflects the growing shift among manufacturing enterprises—particularly in the pharmaceutical sector—toward Cloud ERP as a new competitive foundation. Amid rising demands for standardized governance, data transparency, real-time operations, and cost optimization, Cloud ERP enables enterprises to significantly shorten implementation timelines, reduce upfront investment, optimize total cost of ownership compared with traditional ERP models, and rapidly bring systems into operation to generate tangible value. Enterprises can manage operations and make decisions anytime and anywhere based on real-time data, while reducing dependence on on-premise IT infrastructure and enhancing agility in response to market fluctuations.
Specifically, Pharmedic and FPT jointly implemented core SAP S/4HANA modules tailored for the pharmaceutical industry, while tightly integrating the “Made by FPT” solution ecosystem to establish a data-driven enterprise resource management platform. The system seamlessly connects finance, procurement, sales, production, quality management, warehousing, logistics, and human resources. Within this architecture, the FPT.FlatX order management and promotion solution supports real-time sales management, discount and promotion control, distribution, and market monitoring, while the FPT.iHRP human resource management system serves as a central pillar in modernizing HR and payroll operations.
The successful operation of the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud ERP system integrated with “Made by FPT” solutions enables Pharmedic to establish an end-to-end, standardized, and transparent management platform. Data is synchronized in real time on a single core system, helping reduce errors, strengthen control efficiency, optimize operations, and support timely decision-making by management, while better meeting the pharmaceutical industry’s stringent compliance requirements, including GMP and GDP standards.
