Stavian puts SAP ERP system into operation and signs comprehensive cooperation agreement with FPT
After one year of commencement, Stavian Group has officially launched a SAP ERP system, marking an important milestone of Stavian’s growth in the 4.0 digital technology era. Also at the launching ceremony, Stavian Group and FPT Corporation have signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement on adopting digital solutions into business activities, enhancing business efficiency and competitiveness of the company in international market.
On January 9, 2023, a ceremony on the launching of SAP ERP project & signing of comprehensive cooperation agreement between Stavian Group and FPT Corporation has taken place at Stavian Group headquarter in Hanoi. Attending the ceremony are Mr. Dinh Duc Thang – Chairman of the Board cum General Director of Stavian Group, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa – CEO of FPT Corporation, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Minh – CEO of FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS), and Mr. Nguyen Hong Viet – Managing Director of SAP Vietnam.

Currently, Stavian Group plays an important role in the supply chain and production of petrochemical products not only in domestic market but also around the world. With a business development strategy that focuses on industries such as petrochemicals, chemicals, pulp and paper, high-tech new materials, recycling & circular economy, industrial parks, logistics, and 4.0 entrepreneurship…, digital transformation is seen as one of the main focus of Stavian Group in the coming time. As import-export and international trade activities have been getting increasingly complex, meanwhile it is ultimately required to manage a large number of member companies in an optimal way, Stavian Group has been struggling with an issue of scattered and decentralized data, which makes it highly difficult for employees to access information systems. Therefore, adopting digital transformation solutions into resource management systems in a comprehensive way has become a major focus of Stavian Group, which so far has gradually been well-implemented.
In response to Resolution No. 21-NQ/BCSĐ on Digital Transformation to 2025, with vision to 2030, Stavian Group has officially put SAP S/4 HANA ERP system – a solid technology foundation compliant with international standards – into business and management activities. This digitalization solution has been deployed by FPT IS towards four criteria of Stavian’s operations, which is management of all operational activities, consistent connection with partners’ environments, enhanced customer experience, and integration of equipment and tools. This is the key for Stavian Group to continue and streamline its organization structure, allowing the Board to optimize corporate governance, enhance competitive advantages, and expand business activities in international market. The launching ceremony of SAP ERP project is an important milestone of Stavian, marking the first successful step in digital transformation journey of the Group.
Also at the ceremony, Stavian Group and FPT Corporation have signed an agreement on comprehensive cooperation. Accordingly, FPT will accompany Stavian to develop solutions for agency and distribution management as well as corporate governance automation, including: Domestic and international information transmission services, Internet connection, Digital transformation solutions adopting advanced 4.0 technologies (AI, Chatbot, RPA, Data Analytics, Blockchain…).
