This is an intelligent mobile application that serves as a two-way communication channel between the city council and its citizens by offering an easy and convenient “one-touch” interaction.
Through the Digital Citizen App, residents can report incidents, provide feedback, and contribute ideas on issues of interest. Additionally, they can closely monitor the progress of responses from government authorities. Citizens can also access, search, and utilize public service utilities quickly and conveniently across various practical aspects of daily life.
Digital Citizen App brings numerous benefits to citizens.
This is an effective tool for the city council to record, manage, and address real-life incidents arising in the area based on transparently provided data. It also enables the government to quickly and timely deliver information to citizens about city activities; promote new initiatives, policies, and legal regulations; publish news, announcements, and emergency alerts…
A standout feature of the Digital Citizen App is that citizens can directly and promptly track the outcomes of cases and issues they report through the app. Users need to log in only once using their Vietnam Citizen e-Identification account (VNeID). They can search for administrative procedures, track administrative records, and monitor the status of administrative processes across various fields. Additionally, citizens can rate and provide feedback to the services of administrative agencies. This feature is continuously updated to allow citizens to submit online documents in multiple areas. To ensure that citizens conveniently stay informed, the Digital Citizen App will display notifications whenever a reported issue is resolved, a record is processed, or there are new developments in the resolution process; there are urgent “hot” alerts from government authorities.
In the initial phase (from now until December 31, 2024), Digital Citizen App offers 12 key feature groups, which is shown in the Digital Citizen folder, including: Feedback and Proposal, Education, Healthcare, Tourism – News, Transportation, Construction, Government Agencies, Public Services – Record Lookup, Maps, Unified Accounts, VNeID, and Interactive Notifications – News – Public Consultation.
In addition to the 12 features in the Digital Citizen section, the app also provides users with additional features in the My Services section, such as: Healthcare Information, Education, and Transportation (additional features like E-commerce, Labor and Employment Information, Social Security, and cybersecurity tools will also be introduced). This is where users can personalize the app by adding the features they want. The Digital Citizen App will save these preferences for a more convenient user experience.
FPT IS, a subsidiary of FPT Corporation, is honored to collaborate with Ho Chi Minh City in developing the Digital Citizen App. With its integrated, user-friendly design, the app enables citizens to access all essential services and connect with the government in a quick and efficient way. The launch of the Digital Citizen App marks a significant milestone in Ho Chi Minh City’s digital transformation journey.
