The Ministry of Justice successfully hosts the online contest ‘Learn about the Ministry of Justice’

On the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the Justice Sector’s Traditional Day (August 28, 1945 – August 28, 2025), the Ministry of Justice on August 21, 2025, held the Award Ceremony of the 1st National Press Awards on the Justice Sector and the Online Contest “Learn about the Ministry of Justice”. Notably, the online contest deployed on a modern digital testing platform with the support of FPT Corporation achieved impressive results.

Pursuant to Decision No. 42/QĐ-BTP of the Minister of Justice on the celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the Justice Sector’s Traditional Day, and Plan No. 5922/KH-BTP, the Ministry of Justice organized the Online Contest “Learn about the Ministry of Justice.” The contest was chaired by Deputy Minister of Justice Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ngoc, Head of the Organizing Committee, with the Department of Legal Dissemination and Education serving as the advisory and coordinating unit.

On August 21, 2022, the Ministry of Justice held the Award Ceremony of the Contest in Hanoi. In his remarks at the ceremony, Minister of Justice Nguyen Hai Ninh emphasized that the contest had contributed to spreading the noble values of the Ministry and the justice sector, enabling officials, civil servants, employees, and citizens to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the history, role, and significant contributions of the justice sector to society, while also helping bring legal knowledge closer to the community.

“The success of the Online Contest ‘Learn about the Ministry of Justice’ is a clear testament to the effective cooperation between the justice sector and the press and media agencies, reflecting the strong support and genuine commitment of journalists to the justice sector,” the Minister highlighted.

These results not only affirm the user-friendly, accessible, flexible, and effective nature of online contests on digital platforms, but also highlight a significant step forward in the Ministry of Justice’s digital transformation journey. They contribute to bringing legal dissemination and education closer to the people in the digital era, in line with Resolution 57-NQ/TW.

The system was developed and deployed in just two months, from requirements gathering, design, and system delivery to user training, nationwide contest administration, and final reporting, with a dedicated team of only six technical staff. During implementation, the project team faced a number of challenges: the wide age range of contestants required a user-friendly interface while ensuring technical rigor and security; the system needed continuous updates to accommodate administrative adjustments; and the Khaothi.Online platform had to guarantee high performance, supporting thousands of concurrent mobile users under strict technical optimization requirements. In addition, the platform provided real-time reporting and result statistics, enabling the Organizing Committee to monitor and manage the contest effectively. As a result, the contest not only ensured transparency, safety, and efficiency, but also generated significant savings in manpower and costs for the organizing body.

Speaking at the Award Ceremony, First Prize winner Ms. Pham Thi Thu Thao remarked that the contest applied modern technology and was organized online, allowing participation across multiple electronic devices and accommodating a diverse range of contestants.

He emphasized that such initiatives help deepen public understanding of the Ministry and the justice sector, highlight the role of law in everyday life, and foster a stronger sense of responsibility among citizens in complying with the law.

Khaothi.Online is a modern technology platform developed by FPT to comprehensively manage examination, testing, and assessment activities. It covers the entire process – from registration, scheduling, and building question banks and test papers, to exam administration, monitoring, authentication, and results analysis. The solution not only marks a new step forward in modernizing examination and management practices but also reflects FPT’s consistent commitment to action, contributing to the implementation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on accelerating national digital transformation and building a transparent, efficient administration that serves citizens and society.

The success of the contest reaffirms FPT’s commitment to accompanying the Ministry of Justice in particular, and the Government in general, in the digital transformation journey. Recently, the Ministry of Justice cooperated with FPT to implement the Electronic Receipt System in civil judgment enforcement – a key milestone that lays the foundation for further collaboration and deeper application of digital technologies in judicial activities, moving towards a transparent, modern public administration that better serves the people.
