Three “Made by FPT IS” solutions are honored in the Top 10 Make in Viet Nam Awards
Recently, three FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) solutions have been honored at the Make in Viet Nam Digital Technology Product Awards by the Ministry of Information and Communications. The solutions include the Power management integrated circuits for mobile applications, Intelligent manufacturing execution system (akaMES), and Anti-fraud solution for digital identity verification (FPT.IDCheck).
The 2023 Make in Viet Nam Digital Technology Product Awards ceremony takes place on December 11 in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh province, within the framework of the fifth National Forum on Digital Technology Enterprises Development. Attending the event are Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Tran Hong Ha, Minister of Information and Communications Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, as well as leaders of ministries/departments, provinces/cities, and representatives of prestigious domestic and international technology firms.

At the event, the Power management integrated circuits for mobile applications is honored among Top 10 Excellent Digital Technology Products for Overseas Markets. In 2022, FPT Corporation incorporated FPT Semiconductor., JSC (FPT Semiconductor), a company that designs and produces integrated circuits. Currently, FPT Semiconductor’s PMIC (Power Management IC) products have passed through the R&D phase to enter the mass production phase. Immediately after the incorporation, FPT Semiconductor won the first chip supply contract, with an order of 25 million chips for 2024 and 2025. Recently, FPT has also won several orders with a total of 67 million chips for Taiwanese, Japanese, and Korean customers in the field of medical equipment and electronic applications.

Also honored among Top 10 Excellent Digital Technology Products for Overseas Markets, akaMES, an Intelligent manufacturing execution system, is a software suite dedicated for manufacturing execution, designed to enhance corporate governance efficiency. The solution can be combined with ERP to help manufacturing enterprises achieve the highest values in terms of quality and flexibility in operating processes. akaMES delivers outstanding benefits, such as reducing 90% of the amount of paperwork compared to conventional method via the digitalization of factory operating processes, delivering complete traceability, accelerating the manufacturing by 30%, reducing operating costs by about 25%, and improving factory uptime by over 20%.

Honored among Top 10 Excellent Digital Technology Products for the Digital Economy, the Anti-fraud solution for digital identity verification (FPT.IDCheck) has affirmed its capacity to comprehensively address the current demands for data verification of chip-based ID cards. The solution has been used by hundreds of thousands of users per month and holds the largest market share in the Finance – Banking segment. FPT.IDCheck automatically extracts information on chip-based ID cards in an accurate and complete way, taking the least amount of time compared to other solutions on the market. The solution then authenticates the information by reconciliation with data from the Ministry of Public Security, capable of detecting 100% of cases of using fake ID cards in transactions. The typical customers include Sacombank, ACB, VIB, OCB, TPBank, etc.
