VCP Holdings shakes hands with FPT IS to implement a corporate governance project using SAP S/4HANA
On January 5, VCP Power and Construction JSC (VCP Holdings) together with FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) and SAP Vietnam have kicked off a project on SAP S/4HANA enterprise resource planning system, aiming towards comprehensive digital transformation for VCP Holdings.
Specifically, FPT IS will deploy SAP S/4HANA, including the following modules, for VCP Holdings and 9 member companies: Financial accounting (SAP FI), Controlling (SAP CO), Materials Management (SAP MM), Plant Maintenance (SAP PM), Mobile functions (SAP Fiori), Integration (QR Code), and Financial statement consolidation. Accordingly, FPT IS will investigate and analyze VCP Holdings’ requirements and develop solutions based on functions of SAP system. Afterwards, FPT IS will conduct training and system transfer, support users to migrate data, use, operate and exploit the SAP system.

VCP Holdings is currently operating in various fields, including: construction and operation of hydropower plants; renewable energy projects; general construction contractor; equipment repair and maintenance services. Adhering to the principle of “New energy reaches a peak” and sustainable development goals of the United Nations, VCP Holdings aims to become one of the leading corporations in Vietnam in fields of hydropower plant construction, renewable energies, and clean energy solutions for Vietnamese people.
In 2022, hydropower plants in VCP Holdings’ network have provided nearly 900 million kWh of electricity in Vietnam, with consolidated revenue of up to VND 1,048 billion. It is expected that VCP Holdings will provide 1 billion kWh of electricity in 2023 and put into operation a number of new plants in the near future.
With rapid development and a large number of member companies located across different provinces/cities, effective corporate governance has been a priority focus of VCP Holdings. In order to remedy the situation of scattered and decentralized data, which makes it difficult for employees to access information systems, VCP Holdings has actively adopted technologies into its operations.
