Vietnam National Seed Group elevates corporate governance with Made-by-FPT-IS technology solutions
On March 22, Vietnam National Seed Group (VINASEED) and FPT Information System Co., Ltd. (FPT IS) officially kick off a project to implement a suite of corporate digital transformation solutions (SPRO, CRM, DMS). The project is one of the major parts in VINASEED’s digital transformation roadmap, a corporation of the largest scale and market share in the seed industry in Vietnam, creating a “lever” to allow VINASEED to enhance its competitiveness and grow further.
Accordingly, VINASEED shall cooperate with FPT IS to deploy a suite of solutions including Process digitalization and automatic assignment solution (SPRO), Customer relationship management (CRM), and Distribution management system (DMS). The solutions have been researched and developed by FPT IS in the spirit of “Make-in-Vietnam” and have been in effective use in multiple large companies. VINASEED expects the project to comprehensively enhance customer experience, open up new business opportunities, optimize distribution channels with real-time information, automate processes, boost performance, and build a paperless office, thereby saving time and optimizing resources.
The project with FPT IS is expected to create a “lever” to allow VINASEED to enhance its competitiveness and grow further.
The project is expected to be implemented within 8 months at VINASEED Group and its 05 member companies including: Southern Seed JSC, Quang Nam National Seed JSC, Vietnam Rice Ltd Company, Ha Tay Seed JSC, and Ha Nam Hi Tech Agricultural Development and Investment JSC.
VINASEED has been making a major contribution to Vietnam’s agricultural industry with 21% market share of national seed varieties. In 2021, the Group has recorded a growth rate of 16.3% over the same period, honoured in TOP 50 listed companies with the best competitiveness in Vietnam, and awarded the First-class Labor Medal by the President. In its digital transformation roadmap for the period of 2022 – 2023, VINASEED is determined to innovate the management model comprehensively using information technology, including business model, governance model, customer approach and customer service method, thereby enhancing performance, optimizing human resources, reducing operational costs, improving competitiveness and forming a new working culture in the Group.
