The VioEdu Online Education Platform celebrates its 6th Anniversary with nearly 30 million users

Since its launch in 2019 – when online learning was not yet widespread and its effectiveness remained uncertain – VioEdu has been one of the pioneering EdTech platforms to apply AI, Big Data, and Adaptive Learning methods. The platform delivers personalized learning programs that encourage students to study with greater interest and effectiveness.

This approach quickly set VioEdu apart by influencing the study habits and learning methods of the Alpha generation. AI in VioEdu analyzes each student’s strengths and weaknesses based on their practice history and study time, then recommends tailored, targeted content. When a student struggles with a skill, the system identifies the root cause and related skills, suggesting a personalized learning path that helps them progress faster and gain confidence in their studies.

From a management perspective, AI enhances the classification of learning resources into different levels aligned with cognitive stages: Remember – Understand – Apply – Advanced Application. VioEdu builds subject content in modular knowledge systems that can be easily customized and adapted for different markets. In 2023, the platform quickly updated and adjusted its content to align with new textbooks, enabling users to select Math and Vietnamese curricula for their learning experience.

Gamified features keep students engaged, with an average interaction time of up to 50 minutes – eight times higher than that of typical online learning applications.

To address the challenge of maintaining student focus in online learning environments, VioEdu offers high-quality programs aligned with the 2018 General Education Curriculum, presented through engaging graphics, micro-learning lessons in animation, and a variety of practice, competition, and multi-level interactive features designed like a game. This creates an active, holistic learning environment where students can learn independently without heavy reliance on adult support. The system records an average interaction time of up to 50 minutes—eight times higher than typical online learning applications.

In 2025, keeping pace with the strong wave of AI adoption, VioEdu introduced AI-powered English and Math content, becoming the first platform to deliver Math learning in this way.

For English, AI identifies and corrects pronunciation errors and generates conversational content to help students practice speaking skills. For Math, AI functions as an “online tutor,” guiding students step by step to solve problems, fostering problem-solving thinking, automatically generating theory lessons to reinforce core knowledge, and enabling Q&A with AI for deeper exploration.

VioEdu now engages 10 million primary and secondary school students nationwide

In addition to its standout AI applications, VioEdu differentiates itself by developing a robust admin system that provides platforms and tools for teachers and schools to support teaching, assessment, and management. Its creative approach in launching large-scale online knowledge competitions has also fueled explosive growth, with user numbers surging by 153% annually, reaching nearly 30 million as of August 2025. During the 2024–2025 school year alone, VioEdu collaborated with almost 50 out of 63 provincial Departments of Education and Training to organize the VioEdu Arena competitions for students nationwide.

In 2022, when online testing and assessment were not yet widely adopted, VioEdu set a record with its online VioEdu Arena competition, drawing 200,000 simultaneous participants. For offline formats, this past July, VioEdu became one of the first platforms to successfully host the finals and award ceremony for 2,600 students. Taking place within a single day, each competition session accommodated up to 400 students competing on computers, with parents able to follow live rankings on a large screen, and awards presented to students immediately after their matches.

Not only remarkable for its rapid user growth, VioEdu also stands out among Made by FPT products with an average annual revenue growth of 44%, multiple prestigious international IT awards, and recognition in 2024 as the “Most Effective Business Unit” in the NB division. The platform is also known for its active participation in community-building initiatives and internal engagement activities.

As the 2025–2026 academic year begins, alongside new subjects such as Finance, AI-powered English, and AI-powered Math, VioEdu will introduce a series of valuable intellectual competitions for students nationwide, including the National Arena, Regional Arenas, and the Finance Arena.
