Dong Anh Electrical Equipment Corporation kicks off the SAP S/4HANA project implemented by FPT IS

On the afternoon of October 5, FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) and Dong Anh Electrical Equipment Corporation (EEMC) have officially kicked off the SAP S/4HANA enterprise resource planning project. This is considered one of the “key” projects in the digital transformation journey, and clearly demonstrates the vision, mission and core values of EEMC.

The SAP S/4HANA ERP system is considered one of the core systems in EEMC’s digital transformation journey.

At the event, Mr. Nguyen Vu Cuong – General Director of EEMC – shares that over the past 52 years of operation, EEMC has always been leading in the manufacturing sector of transformers and high-tech electrical equipment in Vietnam. In 2010, EEMC has succeeded in producing a 500kV transformer – a key product of the electricity sector in particular and Vietnam in general, affirming its leading position in the electromechanical sector of the country.

Mr. Cuong also affirms that digital transformation in general and ERP in particular are closely associated with the rights and benefits of each and every employee as well as the sustainable growth of EEMC. “We have faith in the expertise of FPT IS, a company with extensive experience in implementing SAP ERP, and expect that the project will be implemented rapidly and ahead of schedule”, added Mr. Cuong.

Leaders and project teams from EEMC, FPT IS, and SAP sign on the flag, committing to successfully delivering the project.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Minh – CEO of FPT IS – expresses his impression regarding EEMC’s achievements over the past 52 years. According to Mr. Minh, the SAP S4/HANA ERP system will be the backbone throughout, an important stepping stone for EEMC to strongly develop their resources, aiming to conquer the highest values.

“FPT IS is committed to putting in tech resources of the best quality to successfully deliver the project. I also expect that this project will be a good start for EEMC and FPT IS to open new developments in the strategic cooperation relationship between the two sides”, emphasized Mr. Minh.

According to the plan, FPT IS will deploy the SAP S4/HANA ERP system at EEMC with the following modules: Financial Accounting, Controlling, Materials Management, Sales and Distribution, Production Planning, SAP Analytics Cloud, Plant Maintenance, and Quality Management.
