FPT successfully implements international standard greenhouse gas inventory project for Tran Duc
In the global movement towards sustainable development and reducing greenhouse gas emissions, Tran Duc Corporation– one of Vietnam’s leading wood manufacturers – has taken the lead in implementing a greenhouse gas inventory project covering Scope 1, 2, and 3, with the companionship of FPT.

The project was officially launched in August 2024 and completed in March 2025, marking a significant milestone in Tran Duc’s journey toward digital transformation and sustainable development. FPT has provided a comprehensive solution through the implementation of VertZéro – carbon accounting software, enabling businesses to effectively monitor, manage, and report greenhouse gas emissions.
The scope of the project includes the implementation of a comprehensive greenhouse gas inventory in three scopes (Scope 1, 2 and 3), covering the entire chain of business activities, from direct production activities, energy consumption to the supply chain. At the same time, FPT has automatically integrated data from existing IT systems at Tran Duc into the VertZéro system, helping to ensure accuracy, consistency and save time on manual data entry. Emission reports are calculated and exported according to international standards such as ISO 14064 and GHG, supporting businesses to meet transparency requirements from international partners and regulatory agencies. In addition, the project also includes the preparation of emission analysis reports and energy saving recommendations for the Modulux model house – Tran Duc’s key product model, contributing to the direction of environmentally friendly products.
The implementation of a greenhouse gas inventory solution not only provides Tran Đuc with a clear view of its emissions but also supports the development of long-term emission reduction strategies while enhancing its brand reputation among international partners, especially in export markets that demand transparency in emissions, such as Europe and the United States.
This project demonstrates FPT’s capabilities in deploying green technology solutions and showcases the proactive efforts of Vietnamese enterprises in adapting to global sustainable development trends.
