FPT receives Vietnam Semiconductor Distinguished Industry Award 2025

At the Vietnam Semiconductor Industry Expo 2025 (SemiExpo Vietnam 2025), FPT Corporation was honored with the Vietnam Semiconductor Distinguished Industry Award 2025.

At the event, FPT showcased its semiconductor ecosystem under the theme: “Powering Your Next Innovation – Igniting Creativity, Innovating the Future”, reflecting its vision of a comprehensive innovation ecosystem where technology, talent, and creativity converge to elevate Vietnam’s semiconductor industry to new heights.

SEMIExpo Vietnam 2025 was jointly organized by the National Innovation Center (Ministry of Finance) and the Global Semiconductor Association (SEMI). The event, themed “Accelerating Vietnam’s Semiconductor Aspirations”, highlighted Vietnam’s rapid progress within the global semiconductor supply chain.

The event is expected to attract 5,000 delegates and feature nearly 200 exhibition booths, including leading technology corporations, universities, and industrial parks from around the world. It brings together some of the biggest names in the industry, such as ASML, Samsung, Amazon, Lam Research, Tokyo Electron, Coherent, Amkor, Micron, Cadence, Qualcomm, Intel, alongside key Vietnamese organizations and enterprises, including FPT.

Within the framework of the event, FPT Semiconductor Joint Stock Company, FPT Corporation, was awarded the Vietnam Semiconductor Distinguished Industry Award 2025, recognizing the contributions of a Vietnamese enterprise in chip design and the development of comprehensive semiconductor solutions. The award serves as a testament to FPT Corporation’s vision, capability, and unwavering commitment in its journey to position Vietnam as a rising star on the global semiconductor map, where Vietnamese intelligence, creativity, and technology reach the world stage.

FPT also showcased its semiconductor ecosystem under the theme “Igniting Creativity – Innovating the Future”. This complete semiconductor ecosystem tightly integrates all stages, from talent development, chip design, packaging, and testing to product commercialization, with the goal of making Vietnam a new regional hub for semiconductor technology. At the exhibition, FPT Semiconductor presented a full range of chips designed and developed entirely by Vietnamese engineers, including Power Management ICs, Analog ICs, and LED Drivers, which are already being applied across IoT devices, industrial electronics, automotive, and smart healthcare sectors.

FPT also shared its long-term vision to master advanced packaging and testing technologies, progressively completing Vietnam’s semiconductor value chain with the support of reputable partners providing cutting-edge equipment such as Quantel.

In the field of talent development, FPT Corporation is actively pursuing the goal of training 10,000 semiconductor engineers by 2030, contributing to the national target of 50,000 engineers. Training programs, developed in collaboration with leading global semiconductor partners, follow international standards and combine the expertise of both domestic and international instructors, enabling students to gain early hands-on experience with real projects and advanced technologies, preparing them to participate in the global semiconductor value chain.

FPT has also developed the VIMO solution, a 1:1 simulation of a cleanroom chip production environment, allowing students to practice operating semiconductor equipment, such as photolithography machines and probe stations, in a completely safe virtual setting. This application helps reduce risks, cut costs, standardize training, and scale up semiconductor engineering education for universities and enterprises, contributing to enhanced workforce quality and supporting the sustainable development of Vietnam’s semiconductor industry.
