Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Phuong, representing FPT, stated that the Group consistently places high value on cooperation with leading educational institutions, among which the National Economics University is regarded as a particularly important academic partner. According to him, the core value of the program lies in the participation of Executive MBA learners – experienced managers who bring practical governance challenges and multidimensional critical perspectives. He emphasized that in the digital era, leaders not only need to understand technology, but more importantly, must know how to apply technology to innovate business models and lead organizational change.
Within the framework of the program, Mr. Dinh Hong An – Head of the FPT IS Central Region Representative Office, FPT Corporation presented an overview of FPT’s operations and development orientation as a leading Vietnamese technology enterprise actively involved in national, sectoral, and local digital transformation programs. According to him, FPT not only provides technology solutions, but also directly participates in consulting, implementation, and operation of systems that support governance, management, and socio-economic development.
Specifically in the Central region, Da Nang has been identified by FPT as a strategic location, where the Group is investing in the development of technology infrastructure, research and development centers, and high-quality human resources, aligned with key areas such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and semiconductor technology. Based on this practical foundation, Mr. An noted that the consultation topics in the practical learning program were started directly from challenges that FPT is currently addressing in the locality, ranging from expanding markets for FPT IS’s technology products, participating in the city’s high-tech development programs, to enhancing capabilities for deeper integration into the global value chain.
The presentations enabled Executive MBA participants to gain a realistic view of how a technology enterprise formulates development strategies aligned with local contexts, while also closely linking academic content with contemporary management requirements.
