FPT IS partners with Siba Food to operate an international-standard system for food retail operations using the RISE with SAP S/4HANA solution

Siba Food Vietnam Joint Stock Company was established on December 5, 2020.

• Main business activities: Providing fresh and safe food products such as BAF Meat pork, A An rice, and other products with strict quality control and traceability processes.
• Branches: More than 25 stores located in major cities across Vietnam.

CHALLENGE

Siba Food Vietnam Joint Stock Company has been developing a retail chain that includes Siba Food fresh food stores and BaF Meat Shop outlets specializing in clean pork products. The company has become a trusted destination for customers seeking BaF Meat vegetarian-fed pork – clean pork sourced from pigs raised entirely on plant-based feed, herbs, and beneficial probiotics, without antibiotic residues or growth stimulants. All other food products distributed by Siba Food are also strictly controlled for traceability to ensure freshness and consumer health.

In parallel with operating its fresh food retail chain, in 2023 Siba Food Vietnam entered the F&B industry under the brand “Lòng Heo Ăn Chay” restaurant chain, specializing in traditional dishes such as Xáo lòng Bánh mướt and other pork organ delicacies. At Lòng Heo Ăn Chay, ingredients are carefully selected daily from BaF Vietnam’s biosecure pig farms to ensure cleanliness and freshness.

SOLUTION

Specifically, the RISE with SAP S/4HANA solution operated by FPT IS for Siba Food included the following modules: FICO (Financial and Accounting Management), SD (Sales Management), MM (Procurement Management), PP (Production and Processing Management), PS (Store Project Management), QM (Product Quality Management), SAP CAR (Integrated Retail Analytics System). The system was also integrated with multiple platforms, including POS cash register systems at stores, SHB eBanking integration, FPT.eInvoice electronic invoicing, and the SAP Fiori platform for convenient use across Siba Food stores.

This was a specialized operational model designed for the retail industry combined with meat processing and meat cutting operations. The solutions were developed on the SAP Fiori integrated platform, connecting every store nationwide while ensuring streamlined operations at points of sale and maintaining strict, convenient data management for head office teams.

RESULT

• Easily scalable to fully support new business operations arising after Siba Food’s go-live phase, such as restaurant systems, supermarket sales, trade fairs, and more.
• Successfully deployed and operated simultaneously across nearly 100 food retail stores and Meat Shop outlets nationwide.
• Enabled Siba Food to manage operations centrally in real time on a single platform, optimizing information resources for faster analysis and decision-making.
