FPT accompanies URC Vietnam in digitalizing HR management
Recently, the URC HR Phase 3 project – the integration of SAP and the FPT check-in/check-out app – was officially accepted. This marks an important milestone after nearly five years of close collaboration, opening a new chapter in the partnership between FPT and URC Vietnam.
The project includes the integration of SAP modules, including App Attendance, Web Portal, Database, Server, and SAP. The implementation of the employee attendance application and HR portal offers numerous benefits to users, including the ability to select appropriate check-in types for different scenarios, submit leave requests or special leave applications, track remaining leave days, and review work history. Managers can conveniently approve requests directly on the app. Meanwhile, the HR department can easily compile and report on employee leave records, check-in/check-out history, working time violations, and other timekeeping-related features, enhancing human resource management.

Phase 3 of the project marks a new step in URC Vietnam’s digital transformation journey, following the previous success of Phase 1 deployed in 2022 and Phase 2 deployed in 2023.
Sharing about the project implementation process, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ngoc, Director of Implementation for Enterprise Solutions No.12 at FPT IS, FPT Corporation said: One of the biggest challenges in the final phase of the project was ensuring the team’s utmost effort to meet the operational deadline set for 2024, as requested by URC Vietnam’s human resources department. However, thanks to the dedication and experience of the application development team, everything was completed smoothly and on schedule, bringing satisfaction to the customer”.

Mr. Pham Thanh Phu, SAP expert, representative of URC, praised the project as another success in the partnership between URC and FPT. He also expressed his expectation that the attendance and check-in/check-out application will enable URC’s HR department and employees to interact and manage working hours more effectively.
Following the project’s acceptance and implementation, a three-month warranty period will ensure the system operates stably. After this warranty phase, FPT and URC Vietnam will sign a long-term maintenance agreement to ensure the ongoing support, upgrades, and technical assistance for the implemented technology solutions.
