FPT acquires Navisoft: Strengthening the “Make in Vietnam” tech ecosystem
FPT Corporation has announced its investment in Nam Viet Software Solutions and Services JSC (Navisoft), a respected technology provider with nearly two decades of experience in delivering software solutions, especially in the securities and banking–finance sectors. This strategic acquisition reflects both companies’ shared commitment to advancing Vietnam’s finance sector capabilities through technology—aligned with Resolution 57-NQ/TW’s emphasis on science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation as foundational to Vietnam’s rise in the new era.
FPT successfully enlists Navisoft, aiming to offer more comprehensive and advanced technological solutions to the market, joining forces to solve major challenges in the financial–banking–securities sectors.
Specifically, FPT’s investment in Navisoft aims to combine the capabilities, experience, and technology solution ecosystems of both parties to address specific challenges in the securities and financial–banking sectors in particular and the digital economy in general in Vietnam and global markets, especially as the Asian economy experiences rapid growth and Vietnam stands out as a prominent example. In recent years, Vietnam’s securities market has seen dynamic development and is gradually affirming its role as a major capital mobilization channel for enterprises and the national economy.

As Vietnam’s securities market moves closer to being upgraded to an emerging market, digital technology adoption is becoming a competitive race in the sector with growing needs for infrastructure building, core systems, operational services, security, and full-scale digitalization applications. With robust technological capabilities and a commitment to completing the project within three months, the system was operational, processing millions of daily orders with high stability and security. This project not only ensured smooth stock market operations and restored investor confidence but also marked a technological milestone for Make in Vietnam – a critical national financial infrastructure designed, owned, and deployed entirely by Vietnamese engineers. As of May 5, the system has successfully transitioned to the KRX platform, completing its nearly 5-year mission of ensuring HOSE operations.
