FPT and Cisco join forces to build intelligent infrastructure for businesses in the AI era
On April 22, FPT collaborated with Cisco Vietnam, hosted the seminar “Shaping Intelligent Infrastructure for Enterprises in the AI Era” in Ho Chi Minh City. The event attracted a large number of business leaders and technology experts from leading enterprises. It offered strategic perspectives and practical insights on building next-generation digital infrastructure, enabling organizations to strengthen their technology foundation, enhance adaptability and proactively seize growth opportunities in the age of artificial intelligence.
As digital transformation enters a more advanced phase, many enterprises in Vietnam are moving beyond simply applying technology to optimize operations and are progressively restructuring their business models around data and artificial intelligence. Mounting competitive pressure means that the key question is no longer “whether to adopt AI,” but rather “how AI can deliver tangible value.” In this journey, the combination of FPT’s capabilities in digital transformation consulting and implementation, together with Cisco’s infrastructure platforms for connectivity and security, is seen as a critical enabler for accelerating progress.
Opening the event, Mr. Le Quang Vinh Phuc – Senior Vice President & Deputy Director of Enterprise Sector FPT IS, FPT Corporation, shared:
“In the AI era, digital infrastructure is no longer just a supporting foundation but a decisive factor in accelerating digital transformation and enhancing enterprise competitiveness. With an AI-first orientation and a focus on mastering strategic technologies, in 2026 FPT is prioritizing the development of five key pillars, including Quantum AI, UAV, DC5, railway technologies, and cybersecurity – laying the groundwork for sustainable growth in a phase of comprehensive acceleration.”

Representing Cisco Vietnam, Mr. Nguyen Huu Dang Khoa – Sales Director Scale Team Vietnam, also emphasized:
“With 28 years of development in Vietnam, Cisco has continuously advanced its strategic focus on digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and AI to support digital transformation, while prioritizing the expansion of its partner ecosystem and strengthening its local manufacturing presence. As a Gold Partner since 2004, FPT has played a significant role in bringing Cisco’s products and solutions closer to the Vietnamese business community, with growing interest and increasingly widespread adoption.”

From a strategic perspective on digital infrastructure, the program further delved into practical requirements for deploying AI in enterprises – particularly the challenge of building IT infrastructure that is ready for the AI era.
Mr. Le Van Hoang Trung – Deputy Director of Infrastructure Service Center FPT IS, FPT Corporation, remarked:
“Today, AI is no longer an experimental trend but has become a core technology foundation in enterprise development strategies.
However, effective AI deployment goes far beyond applications such as chatbots or GenAI. More importantly, organizations need to comprehensively redesign their IT infrastructure to be “AI-ready” – including networks, security, computing capacity, storage and especially data governance.
In reality, the volume of data serving AI is growing exponentially, with increasing demands for real-time processing, while also introducing new challenges in security and data control.
As a result, the current trend is for enterprises to shift from purely cloud-based AI models toward building dedicated AI platforms such as Private AI Data Centers or Edge AI, in order to ensure data sovereignty, optimize performance and achieve better operational control.”

Building on the discussions around digital infrastructure in the AI era, one of the top concerns for enterprises today is how to bring artificial intelligence into real-world operations to optimize processes and enhance collaboration across the organization. To truly unlock AI’s value, the key lies not only in deploying technology but also in establishing a unified IT operating model with the capability to observe, analyze and automate across the entire system.
In this context, the AI Canvas solution was introduced as an “intelligent operations engine” that enables enterprises to gradually transition toward an AI-driven IT management model. From a practical implementation perspective, Mr. Phan Minh Son – Cisco Solutions Engineer, shared:
“In reality, enterprises are operating fragmented systems across networking, security, data centers, applications and cloud environments, with a high volume of daily incidents. AI Canvas has been developed as a next-generation IT operations platform that leverages AI to unify management within a single, intuitive interface. The platform enables IT teams to monitor the entire system in real time, collaborate more effectively across departments, and leverage capabilities such as analysis, summarization, recommendations, and automated policy deployment. This significantly reduces incident resolution time and paves the way for a new IT operating model in the era of AI-driven operations.”

Mr. Dao Trong Nguyen – Made by FPT Business Development Director FPT IS, FPT Corporation, shared:
“2019 marked a significant milestone in FPT’s internal digital transformation journey, as the Corporation implemented 47 large-scale projects, laying the foundation for an efficient and sustainable digital operating model that continues to this day. As a result, FPT has maintained consistent double-digit growth, achieved 100% digitization and e-signature adoption across internal processes and saved an average of approximately 5.3 million working hours and nearly VND 308 billion in costs annually.
Building on that foundation, by 2020, FPT completed an ecosystem of 31 “Made by FPT” applications operating independently without reliance on third parties and officially commercialized it under the name Kyta Platform. This is a comprehensive digital transformation platform that enables enterprises to fully digitize end-to-end processes, documents, contracts and approvals within a unified ecosystem. The platform integrates AI across the entire workflow, while supporting process standardization, task automation, centralized data management and enhanced cross-department collaboration throughout the digital transformation journey.
A practical implementation within the Civil Judgment Enforcement system serves as a clear testament to the platform’s effectiveness. It has enabled full-process digitization, reducing case processing time by up to 80%, cutting 90% of manual operations and supporting the drafting of enforcement decisions in under 20 minutes through AI-powered judgment analysis.”

The event concluded with valuable insights from leading experts of FPT Corporation and Cisco Vietnam, providing enterprises with a clearer perspective on accelerating digital transformation and effectively deploying infrastructure, operations and AI solutions. The experts also agreed that this is the key to building a strong foundation – enabling businesses not only to optimize their operations today, but also to create a springboard for breakthrough growth in the future.
