FPT and GEIC launch project for implementing FPT.iHRP – HR Management system and FPT Spro – Workflow Digitization system
On April 16, the launch event for the deployment of FPT.iHRP Human Resource Management system and FPT Spro Workflow Digitization system officially took place. This project aims to digitize and optimize the software infrastructure, marking a significant milestone in the digital transformation journey of GEIC Industry Equipment Joint Stock Company (a subsidiary of GELEX Group), while further strengthening the strategic partnership between FPT and GELEX over the past eight years.
FPT Digital Transformation Project Launch Ceremony at GEIC
The project is planned to be implemented in record time, just one month after the two sides met and agreed on the implementation plan. This demonstrates the close cooperation, commitment, and high determination of both GEIC and FPT. Although the challenges are high, the requirements are clear: a modern internal management system that can be deployed quickly, operate efficiently, and be easily scalable to other subsidiaries within the GELEX Group.
This project is particularly important and requires both parties to act with “maximum speed,” as in 2025, GEIC will play a crucial role in collaborating with the Ministry of Public Security, Bac Ninh Provincial Police, and the Traffic Police Department to deploy the GSAFE G6 fire alarm transmission equipment.
Specifically, within the framework of the project, FPT will implement the FPT.iHRP Human Resource Management System with complete standard modules, such as personnel management, attendance tracking, personal services, and mobile applications, as well as advanced modules like payroll management, insurance, and annual tax reconciliation. This solution has been successfully implemented at GELEX Group and has proven effective in improving human resource management efficiency, especially for businesses entering the rapid expansion phase.
At the same time, FPT will also deploy the FPT Spro process digitization service—a comprehensive electronic process management platform built on modern low-code technology. This project will digitize 13 core management processes, including 7 specific processes at GEIC, such as payment requests, onboarding new employees, signing labor contracts, decision approvals, and 2 administrative document processes that have been POC’d at GELEX, including receiving and processing incoming documents and handling outgoing documents with drafts. In addition, the project will include the digitization of existing processes such as contract approvals, procurement requests, and business trip proposals.
Digitizing internal processes will not only help GEIC reduce processing time and increase transparency but also create a standardized data foundation for making strategic management decisions, contributing to building a digital operating culture across the entire organization.
This project is not merely an investment in technology; it reflects GEIC’s strategic direction to systematically restructure its corporate management system, with technology as the foundation and people as the center.
Ms. Le Thi Nga, Member of the Board of Directors of GEIC, speaking at the launching event
During the launch event, Ms. Le Thi Nga, Member of the Board of Directors of GEIC, emphasized: “This project is not only aimed at optimizing internal processes but also serves as a stepping stone for GEIC to meet higher operational standards, which will enhance customer experience and competitiveness.”
Mr. Dinh Tien Hoang, Senior Vice President and Deputy Director of Enterprise Sector, FPT IS, FPT Corporation, shared at the event
Mr. Dinh Tien Hoang, Senior Vice President and Deputy Director of Enterprise Sector, FPT IS, FPT Corporation, shared: “Partnering with GEIC to implement the human resource management software systems and digitize processes is a critical step to support GEIC in its project with the Ministry of Public Security, as well as the company’s long-term sustainable growth. With 36 years of experience working with multi-sector businesses both domestically and internationally on their digital transformation journeys, backed by a comprehensive technology ecosystem, we are committed to mobilizing an experienced team, focusing on rapid and efficient deployment methods, intending to ensure that the system is up and running on schedule, at the quality level, and meeting the expectations set by GEIC.”
Also at the event, Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung, Director of GELEX’s IT Department, proposed reducing the project timeline to 80 days, with a 24-hour feedback mechanism from GEIC. This reflects the strong, proactive, and professional collaboration between the two teams.
The entire project is designed with a flexible “rolling” structure: digitized processes can be put into operation immediately. By leveraging the standardized model from GELEX, the project saves time in analysis and design, ensuring accuracy when applied to GEIC. FPT’s implementation team will also work onsite to ensure seamless communication and quickly resolve any emerging issues.
The project launch not only marks a new chapter in GEIC’s digital transformation journey but also serves as a clear example of the strategic collaboration model between FPT and Vietnamese enterprises. As technology evolves from being merely a tool to a platform that creates value, the systematic and determined steps that GEIC is taking are the essential choices for achieving breakthrough success.
