FPT and Phan Chau Trinh University Hospital develop smart healthcare model 4.0
Recently, Phan Chau Trinh University Hospital was officially inaugurated in the Quang Nam – Da Nang, marking the launch of a new-generation hospital featuring breakthrough technologies and specialized medical services. FPT is honored to be the partner deploying the information technology (IT) system, including hospital management software FPT.eHospital and electronic medical records (FPT.EMR), contributing to making the unit a pioneer paperless hospital model.
Regarded as one of the most modern hospitals in Central Vietnam, this facility can accommodate 2,000 to 3,000 patient visits per day, bringing practical benefits to local residents as well as people from other provinces nationwide. Phan Chau Trinh University Hospital is not only a modern medical facility but also a teaching hospital affiliated with Phan Chau Trinh University of Medicine. With a planned capacity of 300 beds, the hospital is equipped with advanced medical technologies such as a multi-slice CT scanner, MRI system, digital subtraction angiography (DSA), and many other advanced imaging and laboratory systems. Built on an area of nearly 14,220 m², the facility comprises five floors and one technical attic floor, with a design that harmoniously combines aesthetics and functionality, ensuring an optimized experience for both patients and healthcare staff.

A key highlight of the hospital is the comprehensive integration of information technology in its management and operations. All modern medical equipment is deeply integrated into the FPT.eHospital software, in conjunction with the FPT.EMR electronic medical records system, both developed by FPT. This not only helps optimize medical examination and treatment workflows but also aims to build a smart hospital based on 4.0 technology, meeting the standards of advanced healthcare facilities. It also serves as an important foundation for training medical students from Phan Chau Trinh University of Medicine, enabling them to access a professional working environment and develop their skills with support from experienced professors, doctors, and top-notch facilities.
This is a strategic project that contributes not only to FPT’s long-term revenue but also affirms the company’s position in the Central Vietnam market. The success of the project opens up new opportunities, including potential collaboration with other hospitals in the region.
At the event, Dr. Nguyen Huu Tung, Chairman of the Board of Phan Chau Trinh University, met with Mr. Pham Thanh Tung, Executive Vice President and Director of the Healthcare Division at FPT, along with the project team, to introduce the information technology systems and discuss the potential for future collaboration between the two parties.
