Kick-off Ceremony Between FPT and Russia-Vietnam Joint Venture – Vietsovpetro
The project kick-off ceremony was chaired by Mr. Mai Dang Tuan, Deputy General Director of Vietsovpetro, with the participation of Mr. Dang Dinh Cong, Director of the Information Technology and Communication Center at Vietsovpetro. Representing FPT was Mr. Tran Trung Thanh, Branch Director in Ho Chi Minh City at FPT IS, and project teams from both organizations.
As part of the project, FPT will develop the MyVSP application – a centralized platform designed to manage user information and integrate various mini apps and utility services such as form configuration, workflow automation, chatbot, notifications, and connections to Vietsovpetro’s existing systems. The application is expected to improve data access and sharing efficiency, while enabling smarter management decisions through advanced reporting features. The project will be implemented over a six-month timeline and is slated to go live by the end of November 2025.
At the event, Mr. Tran Trung Thanh shared: “FPT has had the opportunity to work alongside Vietsovpetro on major projects such as upgrading the financial – asset management systems with Oracle ERP and Oracle Hyperion Planning. Being chosen again to implement the MyVSP platform is a great honor for FPT. We are fully committed to mobilizing our technological and human resources to build an optimized platform that enhances operational efficiency and strengthens Vietsovpetro’s competitiveness.”
The launch of the MyVSP project not only marks a new milestone in the collaboration between FPT and Vietsovpetro – affirming FPT’s technological capabilities in the oil and gas sector -but also represents a concrete step toward realizing the spirit of innovation set out in Resolution 57-NQ/TW by the Politburo. The project contributes to accelerating the adoption of information technology, laying a strong digital foundation for the energy sector, and helping elevate Vietnam’s position in the digital era.
