FPT introduces initiatives on AI solutions and advanced semiconductors at AISC 2025
Within the framework of the AI Summit & Conference (AISC) 2025, FPT Corporation introduced a series of breakthrough AI technology and semiconductor chip initiatives aimed at helping businesses and organizations optimize operations, enhance customer experiences, and drive innovation.
AISC is a major international event on AI and semiconductors, offering access to the latest technological insights, fostering connections among global experts and scientists, and affirming Vietnam’s active participation in the global semiconductor and artificial intelligence expert community. The event was co-organized by Aitomatic (USA) and the National Innovation Center (NIC) takes place in Hanoi from March 12-14, bringing together global names such as Google, NVIDIA, IBM, Meta, Intel, TSMC, Samsung, MediaTek, Tokyo Electron, Panasonic, Qorvo, Marvell, technology corporations from Silicon Valley (USA) and leading corporations in Vietnam.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Vu Quoc Huy, Director of NIC, emphasized: “AISC 2025 serves as an academic forum and an opportunity for Vietnam to gradually take part in the regional technology race. This event will help domestic enterprises define strategic development directions, expand international and regional connections, and seek sustainable development opportunities in the high-tech industry.”

During the panel discussions on March 12–13, leading experts from top global and Vietnamese technology corporations presented diverse perspectives on the intersection of AI and semiconductor technologies, along with new ideas to enhance technological development capabilities. Among them, Mr. Pham Quang Nhat Minh – Director of the Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Center at FPT IS, FPT Corporation delivered an in-depth analysis on the topic “Empowering Government and Legal Sector with GenAI” during the morning session on March 13.
The capabilities of GenAI models are rapidly growing and being applied across various sectors.
Mr. Minh analyzed that currently, as the capacity of GenAI models is increasingly developing, governments around the world are increasingly promoting their application in public services and the legal sector. According to a report by the QRI organization, more than 75 countries have announced and are announcing a “national AI strategy”. According to a report by the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL), 51% of public employees in states and localities in the United States use AI applications daily or several times a week.
Governments and local authorities can apply GenAI in numerous areas, including supporting policy researchers and legal drafters, case law retrieval, policy analysis, office automation, and data-driven decision-making. GenAI can also be used to develop AI assistants that help citizens with administrative procedures and legal queries, significantly reducing the workload of government staff while improving the citizen experience.
According to Mr. Minh, key enablers for the successful adoption of AI in government operations and the legal domain include: data, infrastructure, human resources, and technology—all areas in which FPT possesses strong capabilities. Mr. Minh concluded by emphasizing that collaboration between governments and private enterprises is crucial to scaling GenAI applications in public sector operations. Mr. Minh also proposed several policy recommendations to ensure the responsible and effective use of GenAI in government and legal activities. These policies highlight the role and accountability of public officials when using GenAI, the importance of training and usage guidelines, the need for experimental testbeds before large-scale deployment, investments in research and development, and creating opportunities for domestic talent.
