FPT IS meets with Korean businesses to promote the development of electronic contracts
On April 15, representatives of the E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency – Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, FPT IS, and MarkAny (a Korea’s leading technology company in data security) discussed cooperation in implementing electronic contracts.
At the meeting, Mr. Choi Go – CEO of MarkAny introduced the information security solution Invisible Watermark, and expressed his desire to expand business in the Vietnamese market.
The meeting was between representatives of the E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency – Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, FPT IS, and MarkAny
Representative of FPT IS, Mr. Le Trung Hieu – Product Owner of FPT.eContract introduced the FPT.eContract – FPT.CeCA solution suite which helps businesses reduce 70% and 80% of their costs and time, respectively, during the contract signing process. Electronic contract authentication system – FPT.CeCA with the electronic seal authenticated by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam plays a part in creating a reliable basis for the development of e-commerce and digital economy. In particular, FPT IS offers the electronic identification and transaction solution KYTA.GATE, which enables users to set up business processes according to their needs, supports the digitization of forms, documents, processes, and personal identification, shortening the time to conduct businesses’ purchasing and selling operations, and connecting processes between individuals/businesses and ministries/departments/sectors such as the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, etc.
The meeting is expected to open up many opportunities for cooperation between FPT IS and MarkAny.
Mr. Le Duc Anh – Director of the Center for Informatics and Digital Technology, E-commerce and Digital Economy Agency, Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam commented that FPT IS is a leading technology company in Vietnam with diverse outstanding products, especially the FPT.CeCA solution which is being trusted and used by Vietnamese enterprises for electronic contract authentication.
“Electronic contracting is planned to be available in Vietnam in the near future. Parties will not be required to sign digitally yet still be legally recognized in electricity and water contracts, appendices of contracts, and orders on e-commerce platforms. We (the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam) expect that FPT.CeCA can meet the need for such change in commerce”, Mr. Le Duc Anh emphasized. He went on to express his expectation that FPT IS will cooperate effectively with MarkAny – a company with ample experience in data security in Korea.
In closing the meeting, Mr. Do Son Giang – Executive Vice President of FPT IS voiced his hope that FPT IS and MarkAny will jointly develop a signing and authentication solution suite and expand their business in the Vietnamese and Korean markets accordingly.
