FPT IS presents FPT.IDCheck solution at the 2023 Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians

Recently at the 9th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians, FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) has presented the Anti-fraud solution for digital identity verification (FPT.IDCheck) to the Chairman of the National Assembly of Vietnam Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue, Minister of Information and Communications Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Mr. Duarte Pacheco, Vietnamese state leaders, as well as domestic and international partners and customers. This is a solution of great use to realize the goal of developing a sustainable digital government through digital transformation and innovations.

Responding to the needs for identity verification via chip-based ID cards, FPT IS has researched and developed FPT.IDCheck and FPT.IDReader – a suite of solutions for verification of chip-based ID card data. With facial recognition and verification features of up to 100% accuracy, the solution suite has been deployed in a variety of fields such as Banking – Finance, Insurance, E-commerce, Real Estate… as well as at any businesses or organizations in need of identification such as schools, notary offices, hospitals…

Currently, FPT IS is one of the few providers in Vietnam that is compliant with all technology and security standards and is licensed by the Ministry of Public Security to provide chip-based ID card verification services. In September 2022, FPT IS has signed a cooperation agreement with the Research and Application Center for Residents Data (RAR), C06, Ministry of Public Security, to widely deploy the FPT.IDCheck solution across the country.

In the education sector, more than 20,000 students were verified with chip-based ID cards as they participated in the 2023 thinking skills assessment examination of Hanoi University of Science and Technology. 11 financial institutions and banks have executed customer verification using FPT.IDCheck for services such as account opening or remote loan, strongly promoting the digital banking.

The 9th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians is hosted by the National Assembly of Vietnam. The event takes place from September 14 – 18, 2023 in Hanoi with the theme of “The role of young people in accelerating sustainable development goals by digital transformation and innovations”.
