FPT IS scores a double win at the International Business Awards (IBA) 2024
On the morning of August 14, two solutions developed by FPT IS, UVote and akaVerse, won Gold and Silver awards, respectively, at the 21st International Business Awards (IBA) 2024 – an esteemed global recognition for corporations and enterprises.
UVote and akaVerse solutions brilliantly secured Gold and Silver awards at the International Business Awards 2024
Specifically, UVote – an ecosystem for automating tasks and processes in annual general meetings and beauty contests – was the sole Gold winner in the Event Management Solution category. Meanwhile, akaVerse – a training solution utilizing virtual reality/augmented reality technology received the Silver award in the Corporate Learning/Workforce Development Solution category.
UVote is positioned as a comprehensive ecosystem encompassing all tasks of the Investor Relations (IR) Department, specializing in organizing and operating Annual General Meetings (AGMs). In 2024, UVote officially launched a shareholder management and interaction platform, enabling businesses to save time in controlling registration information, shareholder stock trading data, and managing events and news for investors.
UVote was the sole Gold winner in the Event Management Solution category.
Additionally, UVote offers voting platforms for Vietnam’s most prestigious beauty contests, featuring contest portals, payment integration, and real-time voting results tracking. By 2024, UVote has earned the trust of over 1 million shareholders and users, with the majority of its clients being large enterprises in the Top VN30, including Vinamilk, Vietjet, Vingroup, and Manulife.
akaVerse won the Silver award in the Corporate Learning/Workforce Development Solution category.

According to the evaluation of the Judging Panel, akaVerse has successfully leveraged VR/AR technology to revolutionize training methods. It offers an interactive and immersive solution that significantly improves training outcomes while reducing both time and costs for businesses.
Prior to the International Business Awards, akaVerse had secured remarkable wins in prestigious awards in 2024, such as Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards and Sao Khue Awards.
The International Business Awards is one of nine annual Stevie Awards programs. In its 21st edition, the awards attracted more than 3,600 nominations from organizations and businesses across 62 countries and territories. Alongside FPT IS, this year’s event also honored numerous nominations from leading technology corporations and enterprises in Vietnam and around the world, including Viettel, VNPT, FPT Software, Cisco Systems, SAP, and IBM.
