FPT IS to deploy a comprehensive digital ecosystem for Shinhan Life Vietnam’s business activities
On August 3, FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) and Shinhan Life Insurance Vietnam Limited Liability Company (Shinhan Life Vietnam) have officially kicked off a project to implement a comprehensive digital ecosystem for business activities. This pioneering approach is expected to change the way of governance, creating momentum for business growth for Shinhan Life in the coming time.
Specifically, FPT IS will deploy an ecosystem of digital applications (mega apps) to assist Shinhan Life Vietnam’s business activities, including: Agency Portal, E-Recruitment System, E-Submission and E-Contract. This is a centralized ecosystem, connecting the entire business teams and allowing all activities from recruitment, training, submission of insurance records, signing of insurance contracts, or direct information exchange with customers… to be performed on a single platform. Currently, Shinhan Life is the pioneering company in the life insurance market in terms of integration of digital systems for business activities into a single digital ecosystem.

Gartner’s CIO report 2023 shows that more than half of the CIOs in the insurance sector tend to continue to increase investment into technologies in 2023. In addition to the goal of revenue growth, enhancing customer experience and operational processes is the top priority of the CIOs.
In the second year operating in Vietnam, Shinhan Life will continue and strive to develop the human resources towards professionalism, and enhance consulting capacity to provide customers with better life insurance solutions. The determination to build a consistent and advanced digital ecosystem indicates Shinhan Life’s expectation in the journey to realize its business goals in Vietnam in the near future.

Previously, in March 2023, FPT IS had successfully deployed the online training system FPT.eLearning for Shinhan Life – an important foundation for the two sides to expand the cooperation and implement the digital ecosystem for business activities. The cooperation this time is expected to help Shinhan Life optimize governance activities, enhance business efficiency, strongly promote the company’s digital transformation, and realize Shinhan Life’s business goals in Vietnam’s insurance market.
