Lao Delegation Visits and Engages with FPT in Da Nang
On August 27, as part of a working visit to Da Nang to learn about digital transformation and semiconductor microchip development, the delegation from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic held a working session with Da Nang City at Software Park No. 2, which houses the FPT High-Tech & Semiconductor R&D Center. Here, FPT Corporation had the honor of welcoming the delegation and showcasing flagship technological capabilities and solutions within the “Made by FPT” ecosystem.

The delegation was led by Mr. Santiphab Phomvihane, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, and Chairman of the Laos–Vietnam Cooperation Committee. Receiving the delegation were Mr. Tran Quoc Phuong, Deputy Minister of Finance and Vice Chairman of the Vietnam–Laos Cooperation Committee, along with Mr. Tran Nam Hung, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee.

During the visit, the Lao delegation toured the facilities and operational models at Software Park No. 2, visiting several operating units on-site. At the FPT High-Tech & Semiconductor R&D Center, Mr. Do Xuan Tien, Creative Director of the IDA Project at FPT IS (FPT Corporation), directly introduced FPT’s strategic R&D direction and technology mastery, particularly in priority fields such as digital transformation, AI, and semiconductor microchips. Key solutions within the “Made by FPT” ecosystem were presented, including the AI Agent for automated multi-dimensional accounts payable reconciliation under the AkaBot automation ecosystem, and the iSoma document digitization solution, demonstrating FPT’s capacity to partner with enterprises and organizations in accelerating digital transformation and fostering the digital economy.

Following the tour and discussions, the Lao Deputy Prime Minister’s delegation expressed strong interest in FPT’s digital transformation solutions, high-tech R&D capabilities, and semiconductor development roadmap. This visit served as an opportunity for FPT to share practical experience and expand exchanges on technological cooperation, contributing to strengthening Vietnam–Laos bilateral relations in science, technology, and digital transformation.
