Successful integration of FPT IS’s eInvoice solution for a Malaysian company
On the morning of August 1, FPT IS officially announced the successful integration of the eInvoice function into the SAP ERP system for Cenviro – a leading company in environmental management and waste treatment in Malaysia.
In mid-May 2024, FPT IS and Cenviro launched a project to integrate eInvoice function into the SAP ERP system, with a direct connection to the Malaysian tax system. This integration helps Cenviro comply with Malaysian government regulations, optimize invoice management processes, and minimize risks of errors and fraud.- The project was implemented in 2.5 months at six companies under Cenviro, including: Cenviro Sdn Bhd, Kualiti Alam Sdn Bhd, Cenviro Recycling and Recovery Sdn Bhd, Cenviro Services Sdn Bhd, Cenviro Johor Sdn Bhd, and EPIC Sdn Bhd.
Following the initial survey, FPT IS developed and customized the eInvoice function to meet Cenviro’s requirements and guarantee compatibility with the company’s SAP ERP system. The integration of eInvoice enables Cenviro to reduce cost associated with printing, storing and managing paper invoices, and automate the invoice processing operation, resulting in significant resource savings and increased productivity.
With relentless efforts, FPT IS and Cenviro successfully completed the eInvoice project, yielding numerous practical benefits.
Mr. Freddie Cheng, Project Manager (PM), spoke on behalf of Cenviro: “We highly appreciate the professionalism and dedication of the FPT IS team. During the testing phase, we found that the system met the accuracy, completeness, and speed requirements while operating stably and performing as expected. Within a week of the system going live, we will activate the background job feature to optimize the process.”
The success of the project marks a significant step toward modernizing processes and enhancing Cenviro’s operational efficiency, while also contributing to confirming FPT IS’s capacity and reputation in deploying the solution suites for domestic and international businesses.
