FPT IS attended the An Giang Province Digital Transformation Conference
On October 15, FPT IS attended the An Giang Province Digital Transformation Conference 2024 organized by the Department of Information and Communications of An Giang Province. The event featured a seminar on “Popularising digital infrastructure and creating digital applications for digital economic development – New driver for economic and productivity growth” as well as a product exhibition area for digital transformation solutions. 350 participants attended the event, including leaders and officials from departments, agencies, and businesses in An Giang Province as well as representatives from neighboring Southwest cities and provinces.
Mr. Ho Van Mung, the An Giang province’s Chairman, Mr. Le Van Phuoc, the Vice Chairman, and Mr. Le Quoc Cuong, the director of the province’s Department of Information and Communications, and many leaders representing the province’s as well as districts’, towns’, and cities’ departments and agencies attended the conference. On behalf of FPT IS, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Diem – Head of Sales Department – Southwest region, Mr. Nguyen Van Dong – Digital Solution Consultant – Southwest region along with a team of employees from FPT IS An Giang province attended the event.
As part of the event’s theme, which focused on building digital infrastructure and using technology and artificial intelligence to promote the digital economy, FPT IS displayed the Made by FIS product suite including akaBot, UBot, Utop, and others at the exhibition booth along with a panel discussion on the topic “Optimizing business operations with RPA and AI automation”. Many participants expressed interest in visiting the FPT IS exhibition booth to have an in-depth conversation about digital solutions.
During his opening remarks at the conference, Mr. Le Van Phuoc, Vice Chairman of An Giang Province, stressed: “An Giang province identifies digital transformation as one of the key tasks, the driver for development, creating new values, making an important contribution to socio-economic development, and improving the quality of life for people. In addition, it makes management, direction, and operation more convenient, fast, time-efficient, public, and transparent, which raises the standard of public services that management agencies offer.”
