FPT impresses with rapid deployment in the Blueprint phase for URC Vietnam
Recently, FPT and URC Vietnam Co., Ltd. (URC Vietnam) successfully completed the acceptance of the Solution – Business Blueprint phase within just six days of launching the project on December 20. The process involved conducting surveys, organizing workshops, and developing process documentation, demonstrating the dedication and impressive deployment speed of both project teams.

FPT and URC Vietnam Co., Ltd. have joined forces to implement the SAP WMS Extension & Batch Control project, aiming to enhance warehouse management efficiency and integrate the weighing system at URC. The project’s kickoff ceremony took place on December 20, 2024, at URC CDC – Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park, Binh Duong Province with the participation of leaders and nearly 20 project team members from URC and FPT.
At the event, Mr. Reyan Sulit, Project Director of URC Vietnam, stated, “This project marks a significant step forward in adopting SAP WMS and integrating the weighing system at URC, enabling comprehensive tracking and traceability across all operational processes at URC.”
Project Manager at FPT – Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Ngọc, Director of Implementation for Enterprise Solutions No.12 at FPT Corporation, presented an overview of the project. The main objective of the SAP WMS Extension & Batch Control project is to expand the SAP WMS system to support more efficient warehouse management and integrate QR codes for production batch control. The project is expected to deliver practical benefits: the expanded SAP WMS system with QR code integration will optimize warehouse management and improve the accuracy of batch control. Seamless connectivity between the weighing system and SAP ensures smooth operations and minimizes manual errors. Additionally, the entire process from warehouse to production is automated and synchronized, boosting productivity and reducing costs. The modern system also provides accurate data, enabling the leadership to make more effective strategic decisions. Furthermore, the system is designed to be scalable and adaptable to future business requirements, enhancing competitiveness and laying a strong foundation for URC Vietnam’s sustainable development.

Demonstrating their determination to execute the project efficiently and on schedule, on the afternoon of December 26, the two project teams successfully completed the Solution – Business Blueprint phase acceptance in just six days after the project kickoff ceremony.
