FPT and PhuTai Quartz Stone drive digital transformation with successful deployment of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud
Recently, after 4.5 months of dedicated implementation, FPT officially put into operation the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud system at PhuTai Quartz Stone Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Phu Tai Joint Stock Company). This marks a significant milestone in PhuTai Quartz Stone’s digital transformation strategy, aimed at fully digitizing management processes to enhance its competitive edge in the quartz stone manufacturing sector.

The SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud system was deployed with key modules including Finance & Accounting, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Production, Quality Management, and e-invoicing integration. By adopting this modern management solution, the company can ensure data consistency, strengthen real-time control, enable data-driven decision-making, and optimize its entire operational chain. Thanks to close coordination and strong commitment from both sides, the project overcame numerous challenges to go live on schedule.
Earlier, during the BluePrint phase, Phu Tai stood out as one of the few Public Cloud projects to complete the process in just two months from kickoff—despite challenges in customer-side human resources and a tight schedule.
Mr. Dong Ngo Nhat Tien, FPT’s Project Manager, shared: “The SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation at Phu Tai went live after just four months covering all phases: assessment, solution design, training, testing, and system migration. This is among the fastest deployments to date, particularly given that Phu Tai is a long-standing, multi-sector enterprise and a leader in the natural and engineered stone industry. Completing the project on time is a testament to the strong commitment and tremendous effort from the leadership team to every project member. With the new system, we believe Phu Tai now possesses a modern technology platform to enhance management capabilities, accelerate decision-making, and respond effectively to market fluctuations.”
He further emphasized: “We also believe this success will be a crucial stepping stone for expanding SAP deployment to other member companies within Phu Tai Group, contributing to a more unified, transparent, and efficient management system in the future.”
Ahead of the go-live milestone, Mr. Doan Van Phuoc, Deputy General Director of PhuTai Quartz Stone and SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Project Manager, stated: “We are very pleased that the SAP S/4HANA system went live on schedule. The project took place amid significant economic and social challenges, and Phu Tai was not immune to these impacts. However, with strong determination for digital transformation, we allocated resources strategically to ensure the go-live deadline was met as committed. We expect SAP to provide a solid foundation for improved management efficiency, greater operational agility, and enhanced analytical and decision-making capabilities. This project also opens up great opportunities to replicate the implementation model across other units in the Group, moving towards a centralized, modern, and sustainable management system.”
Beyond supporting current operations, SAP serves as a cornerstone for sustainable growth in the future. The project at Phu Tai represents a pioneering step in the Group’s comprehensive digital transformation strategy. This success will lay a strong foundation for extending SAP adoption to other subsidiaries, driving system-wide modernization and management synchronization.
