FPT IS provides TPBank with equipment and service for infrastructure and DC2 upgrade

Recently, FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) has successfully implemented one of the key projects of Tien Phong Commercial Joint Stock Bank (TPBank), specifically “Providing equipment and service for infrastructure and DC2 upgrade”, enabling the bank to provide continuous service even in the event of data center failures.

This is considered a project with a complex deployment scale, including: infrastructure upgrade (server, storage, network) in DC, deployment of Active-Active model between 3 sites (DC1-DC2-DRC) in Quick-Win phase. Overcoming multiple difficulties in design, construction and testing processes, project teams of both sides have successfully upgraded Corebank DB system 2 months ahead of original schedule. The system has been operating stably and efficiently, allowing TPBank to reduce the time for running the biggest tasks by 30%.

The upgraded system enables the bank to provide continuous service even in the event of data center failures.

The project has proven FPT IS’ capability and experience in deploying major IT systems for enterprises and organizations, helping to enhance their competitiveness and business efficiency.
