FPT IS accompanies National Digital Radio Platform Development Program
On the afternoon of September 23, the Vietnam Ministry of Information and Communications, Vietnam Television and Voice of Vietnam have jointly held a seminar on “Promoting development of national digital radio platform and digital television platform”. As a technology developer attending the event, FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) has presented to a large number of participants the solutions to accelerate digital transformation in the field of Radio and Television.
Delivering an opening speech, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Mr. Nguyen Huy Dung affirms that digital technology is a necessary condition to help better transmit information and reach the audiences. The development of national digital radio and television platforms not only accelerates digital transformation across the country, but also supports communication of the Party’s policies and guidelines.

Deeply understanding the importance of technologies in the process of national digital transformation in general and Radio – Television in particular, Ms. Ha Thi Hanh, Solution Design Consultant, FPT IS, has demonstrated a solution of developing digital radio platform to the participants of the event, including purpose of development, overall architecture, and technologies adopted by FPT IS.
The platform will gather all radio channels in Vietnam, making it possible for the public to listen to or re-listen to programs of any channels anytime, anywhere, including overseas audiences. With more than 10 years of experience in the field of Radio – Television, FPT IS is confident to deliver an advanced and smart digital radio platform, meeting diverse needs of audiences on all current audio-visual devices. Ms. Hanh also emphasizes, the digital radio platform is a key goal of the National digital transformation plan in order to develop digital content, contribute to the development of the digital economy, and enhance digital citizen experience.

“We have integrated smart search features, favorite program suggestions and forums for audiences to interact with content producers. This will help radio stations of provinces/cities adjust radio content in accordance with the needs of the people. Currently, technologies adopted by FPT IS ensure seamless and uninterrupted operation. Particularly, we have also adopted FPT.AI technology to enhance user experience, delivering the most intelligent and preeminent features,” said Ms. Hanh.
Besides the demonstration of outstanding features, the participants attending the event can also directly experience the solution to better understand the utilities delivered by the solution.
