Attending Ho Chi Minh city Economic Forum 2022 on April 15, FPT Information System Co., Ltd. (FPT IS) has presented to more than 1,000 domestic and foreign participants the Center for COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control, economic recovery and public administrative services in District 7, Ho Chi Minh city. The project is highly appreciated by Mr. Nguyen Van Nen, Secretary of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh city, as a “precious seed” that needs to be widely replicated.

Within just 10 days in September 2021, with ceaseless efforts of leaders and officials of the People’s Committee of District 7, Ho Chi Minh Department of Information and Communications, as well as FPT technology experts, the Center has been built to pilot the reopening of District 7, focusing on 3 urgent issues including Safe production and business; Efficient home care for COVID-19 patients; Data standardization and synchronization for COVID-19 prevention and control.
With such rapid action by FPT, the pandemic has quickly been controlled and the economic situation in District 7 has swiftly recovered. Mr. Le Ngoc Mau, Head of Digital Government Project Maintenance Department of FPT IS, says, the Center has continually been upgraded as a cross-cutting solution in the governance, direction and socio-economic development of District 7. Besides, the Center has also been deployed in Binh Tan district and other areas outside Ho Chi Minh city with various practical features to assist local authorities in management activities.
