FPT presents comprehensive digitalization and digital archiving ecosystem at the first scientific seminar on “Digital Archiving in People’s Public Security Academies and Schools”

On April 15, 2025, the scientific seminar on “Digital Archiving in People’s Public Security Academies and Schools” took place at the People’s Police Academy with the participation of over 150 delegates including leaders of academies, public security schools, archival experts, and state management agencies. FPT, as a technology partner, presented its comprehensive digitalization and digital archiving ecosystem, contributing to the modernization of archival activities in the public security sector.

The seminar hosted by People’s Police Academy, the first specialized scientific forum in the public security sector focusing on digital archiving. The event was attended by many high-ranking delegates and leading experts, including representatives from the Ministry of Public Security Office, the State Records and Archives Department of Vietnam, the Vietnam Records and Archives Association, along with leaders and lecturers from northern academies and schools of public security, as well as digital archiving technology experts from FPT.

In the context of nationwide digital transformation, the Public Security sector – particularly academies and training institutions – is actively modernizing its archival practices. Traditional manual storage methods present many challenges in management, retrieval, security, and data exploitation. The transition to digital archiving has become an inevitable trend, aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and supporting management, training, and in-depth research within the sector.

At the conference, speakers analyzed the current state of archival work in the sector, highlighting issues of fragmentation, retrieval difficulty, and lack of standardization. Presentations emphasized the strategic role of digital archiving in building a modern knowledge base, ensuring security, and enabling effective exploitation. Notably, the presentation by Mr. Truong Tien Tuan – Director of the ArchiveNex Digital Archiving Center FPT, titled “Digital Archiving in People’s Public Security Academies and Schools,” attracted strong interest from delegates, presenting solutions to improve archival efficiency and maximize data value.
