FPT recognized as diamond innovator partner by Palo Alto Networks in Vietnam for the second consecutive year
Effective August 1, 2025, FPT IS Co., Ltd., a member of FPT Corporation, has once again been named a Diamond Innovator Partner—the highest partner tier of Palo Alto Networks (PAWN)—after meeting a series of stringent technical certification and engineering qualification requirements. This marks the second consecutive year that FPT has received this prestigious recognition, further affirming its credibility and outstanding capabilities in the cybersecurity sector in Vietnam.
As the digital world evolves at lightning speed, information security has become a critical issue for individuals, organizations, and nations alike. Cyber threats such as hacking, data breaches, phishing, and malware are becoming increasingly sophisticated and unpredictable, posing serious risks to financial assets, reputations, and the stability of IT systems. Ensuring cybersecurity is no longer just a priority—it is an essential part of every organization’s sustainable development strategy.
With a strong awareness of the importance of cybersecurity, FPT has continuously cultivated partnerships with global cybersecurity leaders like Palo Alto Networks. The company also invests heavily in technical training and certification to equip its teams with the expertise needed to consult and implement end-to-end security solutions for clients in Vietnam.
In the most recent partner evaluation cycle, FPT surpassed expectations by completing all partner requirements earlier than the previous year—achieving the target as early as May. The company surpassed $1.5 million in sales and successfully earned five advanced certifications for key products including: Hardware Firewall, Software Firewall, Prisma SASE, Cortex XDR, Cortex XSOAR, and Cortex XSIAM.

Over the past year, FPT has implemented multiple cybersecurity solutions for major Vietnamese enterprises. For example, Firewall and XDR systems deployed by FPT for Phu Quoc Petroleum Operating Company have significantly enhanced the company’s ability to detect and respond to cyber threats. FPT’s firewall solutions have also been adopted by large clients such as PANDORA, PEPSICO, Cuu Long JOC, MARVELL, and Saigon New Port, playing a crucial role in safeguarding their IT infrastructure against increasingly sophisticated attacks.
The re-certification process also recognized the exceptional contributions of FPT’s cybersecurity engineers. Mr. Au Phu Hiep, a security engineer at FPT’s Ho Chi Minh City branch, shared: “I focused on obtaining Palo Alto’s PSE Professional certifications for Hardware Firewall, Software Firewall, and Cortex XDR. I also requested evaluation licenses from Palo Alto to run Proof of Concept (PoC) demos with clients and generate SLR reports to assess system performance.”
Mr. Hiep added: “The process wasn’t too difficult because my ultimate goal was to enhance my skills and knowledge of Palo Alto’s solutions to better support client consultation and implementation. Although I planned early in 2025, I still spent many late nights studying—especially for the Cortex XDR certificate, which required mastering all features in a short time.”
Ms. Viet Nguyen, representative of Palo Alto Networks in Vietnam, congratulated FPT and expressed hope that the company would continue to lead as PAWN’s strategic partner in advancing XSIAM and Cloud Security in the country. She hopes the collaboration will help build a robust and modern cybersecurity infrastructure for Vietnam’s IT environment.
FPT’s recognition as a Diamond Innovator Partner not only highlights the technical strength of its cybersecurity team but also opens doors for deeper strategic cooperation with Vietnamese enterprises. This prestigious status provides FPT with faster access to Palo Alto’s latest technologies and comprehensive support to enhance its cybersecurity deployment and consulting capabilities in the local market.
Since early 2024, FPT and Palo Alto Networks have co-hosted a range of specialized cybersecurity programs and seminars targeting a diverse audience of industry professionals and businesses. A notable highlight was the seminar “Cybersecurity Vision and Strategy in Manufacturing,” organized in collaboration with Elite and supported by VSIP. The event provided in-depth insights into operational cybersecurity risks for the manufacturing sector.
Following this success, another major event titled “Strengthening Cybersecurity and Enterprise Defense in the Age of Cloud and AI” is scheduled for May 28, targeting business leaders. The event aims to update organizations on the latest security trends, develop effective defense strategies, and bolster resilience against emerging threats in the Cloud and AI era.
