FPT supports the expansion of international cooperation at the Meet Khanh Hoa – Indonesia Conference in 2024
Towards the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Indonesia (1955-2025), Khanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee co-hosted and coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Indonesian Embassy in Vietnam to organize a meeting between Khanh Hoa and Indonesia in 2024. At the event, Mr. Phan Thanh Son – Chief Business Development Officer of FPT IS presented many proposals to improve and advance the bilateral relationship throughout the event.
The 2024 Meet Khanh Hoa – Indonesia conference aims to introduce, share, and promote the outstanding advantages and potential of Khanh Hoa province, together with the province’s development strategies to attract Indonesian investors.
Attending the conference were Mr. Nguyen Hai Ninh – Central Party Committee Member, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan – Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee and many local officials and leaders. Mr. Sakti Wahyu Trenggono – Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Mr. Teten Masduki – Minister of Cooperatives and Small & Medium Enterprises, and Ambassador Denny Abdi – Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Vietnam were present on behalf of Indonesia.

According to Mr. Phan Thanh Son – Chief Business Development Officer of FPT IS, Vietnam and Indonesia have great potential to collaborate in digital transformation, with the goal of achieving a greater level of dual transformation. Particularly, the 4Ps cooperation model consists of: Individuals, businesses, inventors and state agencies are important driving forces to promote digital transformation.
“Indonesia has strongly launched the “Visi Indonesia” strategy. Accordingly, the Indonesian Government set a growth target to rank fourth among the world’s largest economies by 2045 when Indonesia celebrates 100 years of independence. FPT has the opportunity to work with and assist this country in achieving its ambitious goals.
FPT has made significant strides toward collaboration with Indonesian businesses. Recently in January 2024, FPT IS and PT. Metrodata Electronics Tbk – the largest IT company in Indonesia signed a memorandum of cooperation. Both sides aim to join forces to develop world-class AI-powered technology solutions to take advantage of Indonesia’s significant opportunities for digital transformation, Mr. Son emphasized.

This marks a significant advancement in expanding business-to-business cooperation between the two nations during Indonesian President Joko Widodo’s visit to Vietnam. As a result, it seeks to foster the development and implementation innovative technological ideas while actively promoting the use of technological advancements in Indonesia.
