MB Cooperates with FPT to promote green technology applications and sustainable development

Recently, in line with the Bank’s Development Strategy for the 2022–2026 period, with the motto “Digital Acceleration – Customer Attraction – Group Synergy – Sustainable Reliability,” Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) and FPT Corporation officially cooperated to apply green technology in optimizing operations and monitoring environmental impact.

Under this collaboration, MB will implement VertZéro – an advanced technology platform developed by FPT, helps build a carbon emissions database and digitize the process of tracking and evaluating environmental impact indicators in MB’s operations. This initiative supports MB in realizing its emissions reduction goals and aligns with the Vietnamese government’s commitment to achieving Net Zero by 2050.

With over 30 years of development, MB has established itself as a pioneer in ESG initiatives, leading the green finance trend, funding sustainable development projects, and supporting businesses and individuals in accessing green capital. Notably, MB has provided VND 70 trillion in green financing for more than 30 solar and wind power projects, generating 3,600 MW of renewable energy.

MB and FPT have maintained long-term cooperation through key projects such as ERP system implementation, debt collection software, and e-invoice solution… This new collaboration reaffirms both companies’ commitment to sustainable development. Leveraging its expertise in digital transformation and green technology, FPT is committed to cooperating with MB in advancing sustainability initiatives, creating long-term value for customers and the community.
