Phu Tai Quartz Digitalizes Operations with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Implemented by FPT

Recently, Phu Tai Quartz Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Phu Tai Corporation) and FPT IS, a member of FPT Corporation, officially signed a cooperation agreement to implement the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud enterprise resource planning system. This project marks a significant milestone in Phu Tai Quartz’s digital transformation strategy while opening up extensive cooperation opportunities between FPT and Phu Tai Group companies.

SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is a world-leading SaaS enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution that enables businesses to operate on SAP’s cloud platform, optimizing costs and operational processes. This solution helps businesses save up to 50% in operating costs, reduces processing times by 99.7%, enhances work efficiency, and improves productivity, delivering outstanding benefits in business optimization.

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Phan Quoc Hoai, Deputy General Director of Phu Tai Group, expressed his expectations: “The Group’s leadership aims for Phu Tai Quartz to be the pioneer in implementing the SAP S/4HANA Public system. Both sides will work together with the highest determination to ensure the system is deployed quickly and efficiently. Implementing SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is a completely new challenge for our team, and we highly appreciate the support and timely consultation from FPT experts to ensure the project is successfully implemented and operated at Phu Tai Quartz Dong Nai.”

Under the cooperation agreement, FPT will deploy the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud system for Phu Tai Quartz’s key business operations, including Finance & Accounting, Sales, Procurement, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing, Quality Management, and e-Invoice Integration. The decision to implement SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud is a strategic move by Phu Tai’s leadership as the company faces challenges in manual data entry and processing via Excel, which reduces productivity and leads to inaccuracies in information exchange across departments.

This project is not only a critical step in Phu Tai Group’s digital transformation strategy but also a strong foundation supporting the group’s business strategy. It enables Phu Tai to maintain its leading position in producing natural and engineered quartz stone products. Implementing SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud aligns with Phu Tai’s core objectives, from building an efficient and sustainable joint-stock company to protecting and enhancing corporate value while ensuring shareholder interests and employee income.
