Successfully implementing cross-selling, FPT opens the first 24/7 operation center in Japan
FPT and its partners have just officially put into operation the first 24/7 operations center in Japan, marking the Group’s strategic step forward in the field of technology operations in a very potential market.
The 24/7 operation center in Fukuoka provides network operation and security services, marking the beginning of the collaboration between FPT and its partner, while also creating opportunities for FPT to expand partnerships with other potential Japanese enterprises.
FPT people from two units FPT Japan and FPT IS participated in the FJP Sale Conference 2025 event in Japan.
The center provides a convenient workspace for IT engineers to create ideal conditions for developing technology projects. In the next three years, the 24/7 Operations Center will not only provide IT infrastructure management services (IMS) but also expand to other areas such as SAP, AMS, BI, and OS.
The project is the result of a strategic collaboration between two FPT units, FPT IS and FPT in Japan, based on a cross-selling cooperation agreement between the two parties and brought about a contract worth more than 1.5 million USD. Thanks to the smooth coordination, the two parties proposed the optimal solution, convinced the customer and successfully closed the contract. In which, FPT IS is responsible for implementation and operation; while FPT in Japan plays a key role in promoting sales and expanding the market.
According to the agreement, FPT will provide IMS services (IT infrastructure management services) according to the highest standards to customers. To ensure smooth operations, FPT IS’s team of experienced technology engineers will be onsite directly at these locations, closely coordinating with customers in managing the infrastructure for the customers’ partners.
FPT’s customer is a large-scale company with about 10,000 employees, owning 35 branches across Japan, specializing in providing information technology infrastructure services for domestic enterprises. FPT was selected thanks to its effective operating model, a team of experienced personnel in the fields of networking and security (SoC), along with the management of Japanese experts. In particular, the team of well-trained staff, with the ability to communicate fluently in both Japanese and English, helps ensure service quality and gain trust from customers during the transfer process.
The launch of the 24/7 Operations Center in Fukuoka is an important milestone in FPT’s development strategy in Japan, affirming FPT’s capacity and commitment to providing advanced technology solutions to businesses here.
