ASIM Telecom cooperates with FPT IS to deploy a business support system for the telecommunications industry

Recently, ASIM Telecom, the developer of the Local mobile network, and Vietnam’s 8th mobile network carrier, officially operated the FPT.BSS (Business Support System) researched and developed by FPT IS, tailored for comprehensive and effective management of telecommunications operations.

ASIM Telecom currently has more than 1 million subscribers and a network of over 15,000 agents across Vietnam. With the goal of becoming a technological mobile network operator who will lead data trends and offer customers with the most innovative experiences, ASIM Telecom continuously pioneers researching and adopting cutting-edge technologies to fully optimize its operations and business activities.

ASIM Telecom’s decision to implement the FPT.BSS solution targets the full digitization of its operations, thereby enhancing the carrier’s service quality and customer satisfaction. The “Made by FPT IS” system comes with outstanding features, including: Manage customer and subscriber information; Manage individual and business customer information; Manage sims and numbers; Calculate and manage fees; Make OCR-powered automatic data entry; Synthesis reports; Offer Selfcare app (for customer), and so on.

The FPT.BSS deployment project for ASIM Telecom affirms FPT IS’s ability to provide digital solutions for the telecommunications industry, and is expected to open up further opportunities for digital transformation cooperation between the two companies.

Before cooperating with ASIM Telecom, FPT IS successfully implemented FPT.BSS for FPT Retail, which currently offers the FPT Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) with the mobile prefix 0775. After only 6 months of the system going into operation, the mobile carrier gained nearly 200,000 subscribers.
