FPT IS presents smart city suite at Smart City Summit 2023
On November 29, in the Vietnam – Asia Smart City Summit 2023, FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) has presented a number of data-based solutions on smart, sustainable planning, construction, and operation.
The Vietnam – Asia Smart City Summit 2023, themed “Data Mining – Building Smart Cities for Sustainable Development”, is jointly organized by Hanoi People’s Committee and Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA).

At the plenary session, Mr. Phan Thanh Son – EVP & Chief Business Development Officer (FPT IS) – affirms that FPT is committed to accompanying the Government, businesses and organizations on the journey of Dual Transformation – Urban and Regional Digital Transformation as well as the journey of developing digital economy. For successful transformation, it is necessary to start sequentially from planning to construction and then operations, focusing on 5 strategic core components and competencies including AI, data, identification, communication, and touch points.
In addition, Mr. Son also monitors a discussion on “Building smart, connected, developed cities – Leaders’ vision”, attended by guests who are leading leaders in Smart urban planning and development from Asian countries.
The guests visit FPT’s booth at the exhibition area of the event.
As part of the event, at the exhibition area, FPT IS presents an ecosystem of smart city solutions integrated with virtual reality and augmented reality technologies for the purposes of tourism, culture and business, such as 30 IT models for 5 utility groups associated with digital transformation in accordance with Project 06/CP; akaVerse total solutions with Virtual Tour and Digital Twin; 3D scanners that help preserve images of ancient antiques and artifacts for use in virtual galleries and virtual events in the Metaverse.
With an ecosystem of diverse tech solutions and extensive experience in successfully implementing digital transformation and smart city projects, FPT IS expects to contribute to solving the challenges of modern cities with digital technologies.
