FPT IS accompanies Bac Lieu province to exploit digital data and create new values

On October 13, FPT Information System Corporation (FPT IS) has attended Bac Lieu Province Digital Transformation Seminar 2023 and discussed the important role of data and proper data management and exploitation solutions.

Delivering the opening speech, Mr. Huynh Chi Nguyen – Vice Chairman of Bac Lieu Provincial People’s Committee – emphasizes: “Digital transformation is inevitable, it helps the Government as well as authorities across all levels operate in a more proper and transparent way. Digital transformation has been taking place rapidly and involves three pillars, i.e, Digital government, Digital economy, and Digital society.

This seminar is an opportunity for all levels, sectors, and provinces/cities to better understand the role and meaning of digital data in digital transformation, as well as better understand the solutions and ways to build and develop digital data, thereby setting out plans to develop digital data that are appropriate to the relevant sectors and fields”.

Also at the seminar, Mr. Pham Ngoc Khoa – Head of Digital Government Product Department, FPT IS – has delivered a presentation on “Data storage”. According to Mr. Khoa, data infrastructure is a key factor in the digital transformation journey. It helps promote digitalization, build specialized databases to address major, specific, and long-standing issues, and create more jobs for the people. In order to create and exploit data warehouses, local authorities need to lead and direct all people and businesses to take part in the process.
