On January 15, 2026, Saigon Trading Group (SATRA) and FPT Corporation signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a comprehensive cooperation framework aimed at synergizing resources, enhancing operational efficiency, and accelerating technological applications in the commerce and services sector which contributes to the realization of the Political Bureau’s Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation. The event marks a pivotal step for both enterprises in strengthening connectivity, leveraging complementary strengths, and pursuing stable, sustainable development amidst the global shift towards a digital economy.

Under the agreement, SATRA and FPT reached a consensus to coordinate investment, development, and the procurement of goods and services, while deploying technological solutions within their respective core strengths. The partnership focuses on enhancing governance and operational capabilities, optimizing the supply chain, expanding distribution channels, and gradually establishing new digital-based business models aligned with the long-term development strategies of both SATRA and FPT.
The collaboration takes place as SATRA maintains its role as the primary commerce and services enterprise of Ho Chi Minh City. With its large-scale operations and multi-sector ecosystem, SATRA is present throughout the entire value chain from spanning production, food processing, logistics, and wholesale markets to retail systems and the Satrafoods convenience store chain. For many years, SATRA has served as the city’s core force in market stabilization, ensuring the supply of essential goods and contributing to the social welfare of the country’s largest urban market.
Beyond its economic impact, SATRA is tied to a mission of community service and the implementation of Ho Chi Minh City’s trade development policies. Given the increasing demands for governance efficiency, transparency, security, and customer experience, SATRA has identified digital transformation as an imperative path to enhance competitiveness, modernize its operating system, and ensure long-term sustainable development.
