FPT continues partnership with MobiFone to deliver billing system operations services in 2026

On April 15, 2026, FPT officially signed and commenced the contract titled “Technical Software Support Services for Billing Systems in 2026” with MobiFone Network Center, and held the project kick-off on the same day. The event further reinforces FPT’s role as a strategic technology partner in its long-standing collaboration with MobiFone, particularly in core systems that directly impact the operator’s business performance.

Under the contract scope, FPT will provide technical support services for critical systems, including the Centralized Billing and Customer Management System (Billing & CRM), electronic transaction systems at retail stores, Billing Gateway, Payment Gateway, Consolidated Database, HLR Gateway, and other related platforms. These are “backbone” systems that directly influence revenue, customer experience, and MobiFone’s ability to implement business policies.

The services will be delivered over a 12-month period with 24/7 support, including incident handling to ensure stable operations; business updates aligned with changes in policies, pricing plans, and promotional programs; support for self-care tools to enhance customer experience; system installation, upgrades, backup, and recovery; as well as performance, resource, and security optimization. All service requests are managed under clearly defined SLAs, ensuring rapid response and resolution in a telecom operations environment.

Given the nature of large-scale billing systems—with real-time data processing and stringent accuracy requirements—the FPT project team focuses on optimizing database queries, business processing flows, and ensuring data integrity and synchronization for subscriber information. The system is also optimized to maintain stability under high-load conditions, while remaining ready for integration with related platforms such as number management systems, Mobile Number Portability (MNP), and various gateways, as well as meeting strict data security and compliance requirements. All support activities are tightly monitored through a tracking system, ensuring completion only upon customer confirmation, along with full handover of documentation and source code for any implemented changes.

Being continuously selected by MobiFone demonstrates FPT’s capability in mastering core telecom systems, backed by hands-on operational experience and deep domain expertise. The contract not only ensures the stable operation of existing systems but also provides a solid foundation for MobiFone to accelerate its digital transformation strategies in the coming years.
