The training program was designed as an in-depth course to equip participants with core AI knowledge while promoting practical applications in the specialized management activities of the healthcare sector. At the beginning of the training, Mr. Pham Quang Nhat Minh provided an overview of generative AI, introduced prompt-writing techniques, and demonstrated how widely used tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and NotebookLM can serve as powerful productivity assistants. Mr. Vo Ta Nhat Anh, representing FPT, shares practical guidance during the session.

To address specific operational needs at the Authority, Mr. Vo Ta Nhat Anh led the next part of the training through four practical modules. These covered optimizing document drafting; reviewing, extracting, and cross-checking information from PDF documents; researching specialized regulations on medical equipment with reliable source citations; and processing and analyzing data from Excel spreadsheets.

The training session featured active interaction between the Authority’s officials and FPT’s AI experts. In addition to the presentations, officials openly discussed the challenges and limitations they encounter when applying AI to their daily work. One of the most extensively discussed topics was the use of AI for searching and researching legal and regulatory documents. This represents a significant part of the Authority’s work and requires a high degree of accuracy, while AI tools may still generate errors. In response to these practical challenges, FPT’s experts demonstrated how to restrict the sources used as AI inputs, require AI-generated content to cite its sources, and cross-check the information against original legal documents before using it in official work.

The training program demonstrated the Authority of Medical Infrastructure and Equipment’s strong commitment to applying AI to its professional activities, thereby improving work efficiency and contributing to the digital transformation of Vietnam’s healthcare sector. FPT stands ready to continue working with the Authority of Medical Infrastructure and Equipment and the Ministry of Health in the next phases, supporting officials in applying AI safely and effectively to practical tasks. Through these efforts, FPT aims to contribute to the sector’s digital transformation and help enhance the quality and effectiveness of public healthcare support.
